Viashno Devi-Patnitop-Srinagar
Hi
I am planning a tour in the first week of march 2010. We are 2 (age 28-29) me and my wife and looking for one more couple to share memories and expenses too  . I am planning to start tour as per the convenience of all the 4 members. We will start from delhi and move to vaishno devi first, as we just got married and first want to go for a vaishno devi darshan. from there we will proceed to shiv khori-patnitop-srinagar(depends on the road and weather conditions)-back to jammu or pathankot. pathankot-dulhousie-khajiar-mcleodganj-dharamshala-chamba-jot-pathankot. and back to delhi. if their is anybody interested for this tour kindly call me and we will prepare itinerary accordingly.

HILL STATION NEAR VAISHNU DEVI
HI
WE ARE GOING FOR HONEYMOON. FIRST WE WILL GO TO VAISHNU DEVI.....AFTER THAT WE WANT TO GO TO HILL STATION. PLS LET ME KNOW SOME GOOD HILL STATIONS NEAR VAISHNU DEVI AND ASO THE ROUTE BY BUS OR TRAIN ALONG WITH SOME GOOD HOTELS.

Guidance needed for trip from Jammu
Dear all,
This is my first post on the group. It will be a great pleasure for me if anybody can help me with following:
I want to start my travell from Mumbai via Jammu Tawi train. We'll reach Jammu by say 10th of May 2009. From there we want to go to Kashmir. Then Leh Ladakh and other places where members suggestion is needed. There is no specific route. We are only having in mind for good trip to Jammu and Kashmir. So, please advise me how to start with and most importantly, the where should I stay in Jammu. Our budget for Hotel is just Rs. 500/- per 24 hours (with taxes).
Is it good idea to visit Dharmashala, and if so, is it possible to add this place in the route?
May be this is very common question for members living there, but very important to me for a person from West part of country..
