Hotel Review of Bethel Home Stay
Comments: HOSPITALITY UNLIMITED.

After 7 hrs of long treacherous travel from Mangalore we finally reached Bethel. The roads are pretty bad throughout and my parents were already complaining. But then we reached Bethel and were greeted by a warm smile by Rakesh and checked in the Bamboo Cottage. All grumbling stopped as we surveyed the rooms.

Living in the Bamboo cottage is unique experience not to be missed. The cleanliness and facilities match up to a 3 star hotel. The toilets are neat and clean and so are the beds. No mosquitoes or bugs to bother you while sleeping or having your drink in the evening. It’s surprising how they managed everything in that remote area. They lit a fire in the evening and the four of us sat by it enjoying the super cool weather.

Rakesh took us for trekking the next day and expertly guided my parents through their 28 acres of land. Arun is one of the friendliest persons I’ve met. He’s so helpful in everything and quickly runs around to fulfill your every request.

A good experience depends not only on the ambience and amenities but also on the hosts. Bethel has some of the friendliest staff I’ve ever met. From the cook to the maid, everyone has a smile on their faces and an eagerness to please. The food is more like a buffet with never ending variety. The breakfast is excellent.

Be it hot water for baths at odd times or a change in menu, they never say no. While trekking I got a few thorns stuck in my palm. Very professionally Arun bought a needle, dettol and a piece of cloth and swiftly removed them all. Amongst the various places we’ve stayed all over India and abroad, Bethel is the only place where I didn’t hear a ‘NO’ for any requests made. Perhaps it doesn’t exist in their dictionary.
Best Experience: Incredible Hospitality. View from the cottage. Trekking.
Worst Experience: None whatsoever.

Hi, We came across Bethel Estate when searching for home stays/resorts at Coorg and chose it as it was the highest rated and highly recommended option among others. And we are not even one bit unhappy or disappointed with our decision. We were a group of 4 friends and we opted for their Bamboo Cottage for our stay. The cottage was very spacious and neat..especially the bedsheets and the bathrooms. The food was great too. (We actually felt there were...

The experience was awesome. The food was excellent. The planning was excellent and excecuted by Rakesh & Arun. their hospitality was extraordinary. We stayed 2 nights in bethel homestay. We enjoyed a lot with campfire, music and dance. I would suggest if we had different options for breakfast. We had almost the same bfast options on both the days during our stay....

If you're thinking of visiting Coorg, then take my word for it...Check out Bethel Estate!! If you'd like to be pampered and taken care of...this is the place. We were six of us and we surely had one of the best times of our lives. The hosts namely Arun and Rakesh are incredible, it was like having two more friends along. It was a great/awesome/wonderful/magnificient/superb/breathtaking/ fantastic/astonishing/splendid/outstanding/bravura/exceptional experience . If MS word had given me more synonyms, i would have mentioned those too. The hosts were very professional and their hospitality was the best. It is really a value for the money. We would like to plan another trip some time again during rainy season with a larger crowd. Any one planning to visit this place, dont think twice. I will guarantee you will have a great time....

This place is amazing. We had good fun and felt at home. The food was out of the world with a lot of variety especially the non-veg stuff. Breakfast too is lavish and believe me you will overstuff yourself. The morning mist is worth enjoying and living in tents is a new type of experience. The host are an energetic lot and their energy brush on to you. The strategic location of the place is something that the visitors...

I arrived at Coorg totally unplanned, and what unfolded was one pampared holiday. To start with, you are welcomed with the breath taking view of the western ghats - and all plans to freshen up disappeared - hit the trek right away into the tropical forest. The only thing that troubles someone vacation is toilet facilities - Bethel was just one BIG plesant suprise - Living in a bamboo hut or a swiss tent - you have...
