not as per photos

The temple is just a small shrine which is nothing really to visit. The waterfall had no water as rains were require trekking as the cars are not allowed. So in case of aged people in group like in my case please check for auto services(was not available when i went).

We went to Dharamshala in December last 2016 and the beauty of place was breathtaking. It was a long trip including Amritsar, Khajjiar, mcleodganj etc.

Beautiful Temple with pool and waterfall.

An excellent place to rest in the lap of dhauladhars. An ancient temple with an open swimming pool and natural waterfall. The water is extremely cold even in the summers. However, a jump in the pool will rejuvenate one's mind and soul. Totally recommended. Do bring your camera to capture breathtaking and mesmerizing views of dharamsala from the Bhagsu falls.

Nice place

It's a lord shiva temple with lots of mythological info on the walls. Clean & systematic place. The black spot on this place is a filthy swimming pool that is used by just men.Market area near by is well setup & lots of fooding options are available.

Serene place

This temple is surrounded by trees, houses & mountains - a beautiful place. You need to cross the market to reach this place. The temple has a beautiful history associated with it.The pool outside the temple looks beautiful. I visited here on December 16, 2014 around 11 am and a Buddhist monk was bathing in it. I was impressed with the energy he had - a true monk. There was little bit of snow all around from the last night's fall. You can find a small shop in the premises where you can have tea & snacks. There is a paid toilet at the back which is very dirty & you need to climb down a lot of stairs with big steps.Parts of the main waterfall that go two floors below are not in good condition & need attention. But the area is beautiful.

Good location and beautiful approach road

The temple is situated about 2km away from the McLeod Ganj's main street area. The Temple is about 1km away from Bhagsunath Waterfalls. The road to the temple is very beautiful and I suggest you take a walk instead of reaching there by a vehicle.

Just a temple with an exciting history

The temple is about 2km from McLeod Ganj's main street area. I would suggest a walk in early morning or late afternoon. The road to the temple is very scenic with a few points where the whole McLeod Ganj is visible. It's beautiful at the time of sunrise or sunset out there.

The places around the temples are not clean

The temple can be visited only by walking. The route to the temple has been shut so one can only walk till there. The area around the temple is not clean. There was no washrooms. There were many guest houses and stalls around the temple to lure the guests.
