Hotel Review of Udai Vilas Palace
Comments: The hotel had favourable views on your website and that was reason enough for me to make a booking for it. As it is I was alone, so I thought a good hotel can surely reduce boredom, if any encountered during the trip.

And the hotel truly lived up to my expectations.

The lush greens welcomed me at the gate with sitting canopies. The garden seemed to have been just right to soak sun-light on afternoons and enjoy camp-fire at late winter evenings.

I was welcomed with Tilak which made be feel that culture and customs add to the feeling of oneness which we all share as Indians. The juice, too, was just right to unravel after a horrendous journey.

The decor and architecture inside the lobby was in tune with overall feel of the hotel giving a feel of bygone colonial era and make one feel what must the true residents must have felt in similar palaces.

The room I was given had all amenities, a traveller looks for. Though I found that they lacked in cleanliness. Otherwise, the room maintained the standard set by the entrance, and lobby of the hotel. The Rajasthani Folk and Kathputli dance arranged by the hotel late in the evening, was a delight and it seemed that the art should also be encouraged by the concerned authorities because this is what India represents. An old world charm where cultures and traditions meet so beautifully that a person instantly identifies irrespective of which part of the world he belongs and which language he speaks.

The wake up call next morning was followed by tea in the lobby before moving on to the Bird Sanctuary. On return, the breakfast was ready and it was served with warmth and politeness.

Overall, if you want to nestle yourself in the lap of nature amidst greenery and peace, warmth and care, Udai Vilas Palace should be on your checklist.
