The Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries in Orissa which is located near the city of Cuttack. This is a massive area of 650 km which is home to a variety of flora and fauna. A range of reptiles and mammals are found in here and the place is known for being home to the estuarine crocodiles and the rare Olive Ridley Sea Turtles which attract wildlife enthusiasts.
The sanctuary is known for its vast wetland and the thick mangrove forest. The lush forestation is the natural habitat for a variety of exotic and migratory birds. The sanctuary welcomes a horde of nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts.

Entry fee: Indians – Re 1; Foreigners – Rs. 10 (additional fee for camera)
