Bhopal food, sight-seeing and shopping options
The adjoining lake makes it worth during sun-sets. A lot of greenery in the middle of the city is pretty soothing and refreshing. You can take your own vehicle and drive through the whole 8 KM stretch. Walking is advised though for a day long visit. Earlier the deers & Sambhars used to roam and get close to the people but they have been put under guards now. They have also added a small Snake Park and it has some new inclusions.

Hotel Review of Ivy Suites
Comments: It was a great experience with the room located on the lake. It was very unusual to choose bhopal for a year end vacation, but it provided me all what I was looking for- good location, peaceful and quite environ- I woke up to chirping of birds and went to sleep with calming effect of distant lights reflecting in still water of lake.
Best Experience: Feeling the cool fresh breeze everytime you walk out of your room to the attatched balcony, well maintained plants and very homely food
Worst Experience: You miss the choice in food available at all times. Bathroom fittings etc. are not best in class and leave a lot of room for improvement.
