Hotel Review of KMVN Tourist Rest House Nanda Devi
Comments: The destination and location is excellent for hill lovers. You have excellent view of Nanda devi and Trishul range from here. I would recommend to visit Binsar in winter though the temparature goes below 2 deg. cent. Please do not forget to visit zero point with local guide available at tourist lodge. The view from here is excellent.
Best Experience: The view of the entire range of Nanda devi and Trishul from zero point and the walk through the forest from lodge to zero point.
Worst Experience: Scarcity of hot water and non availibility of grid connected electricity.

BINSAR : It’s a BIRD SANCTURY. As we go to this place it’s heaven for nature lover. KMVN resort extra ordinary. Very well located & very well kept. As this is the only resort inside the park. Don’t get fooled by Private resorts for which they claim to be inside the park. This resort dose not provide electricity as u don’t need any. Through out the Uttaranchal trip u don’t require fan it’s pleasant and refreshing as we were traveling...

If not for a lousy room the visit would have been heavenly. Ill maintained, unclean, full of water seepage. The mountains, snow view, forest, the walks, the view are all heavenly - the best....

Fabulously located, this KMVN rest house is truly rustic. There's no electricity and you get one bucket of hot water in the morning. Some lovely walks and there's no habitation for miles around so for those looking for absolute peace and quite and at one with nature - this is the place!...

Hotel Review of KMVN Tourist Rest House Nanda Devi
It is beautiful building with no electricity. Rooms are small but woodpanelled and with candlelight in the evenings it is an exotic and fascinating experience. The best thing is the huge terrace where one can sit all day and simply watch the Himalayan ranges, clear and stunning! The reseve forest is beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The overall experience is out-of-this-world!!...
