Dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, his consort, the chief deity is constructed out of a single piece of marble giving it a beautiful sheen. The temple also houses numerous deities, with an exquisite image of Lord Ganesha. The temple is ornate with beautiful carvings and rich sculptures from of Hindu mythology.

The room with all its infrastructure was outstanding: within an independent 2-room bungalow/villa, two times wider than usual rooms, all comfort and very well designed.
Independent wide garden with a beautiful view on the valley and the mountains.
Cleanliness and maintenance very good.

"Lakshmi Narayan temple - marble marvel"

  • 5.0/7
  • Posted 1 month ago
The Lakshmi Narayan Temple constructed by Birlas is the same. No need of different reviews. The sunset and the lighting of Moti Dongri are the main attractions.
Very clean and professionally managed modern temple. Every 15 minutes aarti is performed. Opened only in the mornings and evenings.
A place to rest after long sight seeing walks.

Located in outskirts of city but can not say far. Made from white Sufficient space. Free entry. Food stalls are available outside of temple on main road. Large space occupied by campus but temple is small. Very good & attractive idol of Lord. Camera allowed in campus only. Not inside temple. But Nothing to loose if not visited by any reason.

"Birla temple - white gold"

The one of the best temples located on JLN marg. Its constructed in white marble and love the serene atmosphere and the cleanliness. Do visit in the evening time and sit calmly and pray for some time inside the temple- you will feel pure and satisfied from inside.

"A temple made of Marbles"

  • 6.0/7
  • Posted Dec 31, 2016
Birla Mandir is temple of Laxmi Narayan. The temple is made of Marble, the place is completely white with beautiful carvings on the marble.
We have fortunate to visit the place around 9:30 am, the aarti and darshan immediately started after that. We got to see the aarti as well as darshan.
People for all age group visit the place. It is also one of the key attraction in Jaipur. There is shoe keeping space there, just deposit and be tension free.
Photography inside the main temple is not allowed.
There is a Ganesh Temple adjacent to this temple that is also tot be considered as a must visit. Not many are aware of this Ganesh Temple.

I think this is one of the best place in Jaipur, very clean amazing view, fort is beautiful.
You must go with your camera but not allowed to take photo inside the temple,
But in the fort you are allowed to click photos, overall it is a very good location.

"Not popular amongst devotees but popular amongst tourists as a visual treat"

  • 6.0/7
  • Posted Nov 28, 2016
Well, this temple has been in Jaipur for years & known for its cleanliness, construction & calmness one can have in busy centre of Jaipur. However, this temple is not known for its devotion to God as much as other famous temple & the nearest being Moti Doongri Ganesh Temple. Still, if one wants to spend time in silence & isolation, it can be attained here amidst Gods. The construction is one of its kind & hence, the temple can be termed as Beautiful

Situated on the main road heading towards the World trade park. It can be seen from a long distance. It is made of white marble. One can go there and be at peace. It's isolated but in the city too at the same time. Very well-designed.
