Hotel Review of Bogmalo Beach Resort
Comments: Super place to stay for a quick getaway... near the airport with a super beach. The room service was kind of okay but the Coconut Grove restaurant was value for money! Very relaxing weekend.


Best Experience: The massage...best kerala massage I have ever had. The sound of the waves whooshing all night was soothing. The pool was lovely and so was the beach.
Worst Experience: None

We went to Bogmalo over the Aug 15 weekend (2006). The resort was pretty good and the location is just beautiful. The rain spoils things a bit for the residents since there is not much to do. We had a great time at the resort during the monsoon. It is adjoining the beach and we had the view of never ending sea from our room. It was truly remarkable. Its avery private place and not much of a disturbance from the locals. Neat & clean. Food quality is satifactory. Being near the airport is a great advantage. It has a casino - not used by many. Unfortunately the acitvity is poor & not a very happening place. The beach is small & not very clean. Pool open as late as 8 am....

This is a nice place to stay for a quick getaway. The best thing is that, this place is in a small village and it gives you the feeling that you are away in some remote serene island. The hotel provided pick up was a maruti van ( not in good condition) but the drop was in a better vechicle - Versa. pathetic one of worst beach resort ever visited had a good infrastructure but very poor management we took a package for 5 nights for 3 rooms but we checked out after the 2nd night although at a retention charges of Rs 17000 else it would have spoiled our goan vacation...

December turned out to be the best possible time to visit Goa. the weather was as pleasent as it could be. the resort was located just off a little cosy beach, clutterde with a few rocks. though it was tourist season, the beach wasnt much crowded, probably because of the high popularity of other places like calangute....
