1. We stayed here for 2 nights. Room quality was more than our expectations. Amidst the forested area, they maintain a very clean and decent env. 2. With basic amenities, they try to give their best through their hospitality. But not a typical resort as such. 3. Restaurant is good but very costly food. They might work to reduce the price. 4. Little inside from the main road with no option for outside food joints in vicinity. 5. They also arrange elephant and jeep safaris at min commission. Safari entry points are around 10km away from the hotel. Overall a nice stay.
The hotel location was very good. The service was nice at the hotel. I would suggest this hotel to improve the service. The check-in and check-out was done on time. The transportation facility was available nearby the hotel. The food quality was very good and tasty. The hotel appearance was very good. I would recommend this hotel for other travellers.
The hotel was in a sylvan surrounding covering a large area. The rooms were pretty good and resembled forest bungalows. Hospitality was very warm and so is the ambiance. The hotel is very near to the highway and is easily accessible from Kohra. The food was good as well.
Hotel is located close to Kaziranga National park. Ambience is good. Interior design of the hotel is good. They have nice cottage but the difference in facilities of deluxe and luxury cottage is not much. We paid for the luxury cottage and did not get the facilities we expected. Food is good. Good for family and friends.
The resort is located very near to Kohra which is the central part of Kaziranga National Park. Located in a lush green surroundings with many trees around a very good place for those who enjoy calmness of nature away from the cacophony of towns and cities. The rooms are like forest bungalows provided with all useful facilities.
I went with my small family, wife & child to spend holiday. Resort I found ok the only problem was a room at range around 1800 have no television. This was quite surprising to me. Service was really good. Staff provided their best service. Rides were arranged by hotel. Guest must experience Jeep ride as well as elephant safari. Special attraction off course rhino, deer & elephant. In the hotel compound a swing is there. Surround is good. Cottage should have some more facilities. No telephone, no television at Rs 1800 cost not accepted.
Location was the main attraction of this hotel and it was so lively and refreshing. Hotel was looking decent and basically it was like a medium sized guest house but very well-maintained one. Room was averagely sized having some basic facilities and well-managed efficient staff. Room was very simple and room service was fine. Food was decent in that price and taste and quality was also acceptable. Tariff was very low but in that tariff it was a really nice hotel.
Bonhabi Resort is very good hotel. Location was fabulous. Inner and outer look of the hotel was awesome. Booking and front office was superb. Food was delicious. Staff behavior was friendly. Services were fast. Rooms were well-maintained, neat and clean. Activities were fantastic. Kaziranga place is good for visit.
A really nice resort to enjoy the days at Kaziranga. The surrounding green environment was really a nice one to spend your time. The overall environment of this resort is really very relaxing. Food service was good with different mouth watering traditional dishes. Room service was too good.
It was a good place to visit. It was a comfortable journey for me. As a destination, Kaziranga is good. I travelled there by flight. Hotel location was good. It was convenient. Appearance of the hotel was average, not very good. Booking was done through online. There was no issue in check in and check out. Booking process was good. Pickup and drop facility was not there. Staff service was good. Housekeeping was also good. Room was good. It was spacious, neat and clean. Washroom was also neat and clean. No view was there. It was a very normal location. Room heater, blankets, hot water, TV, etc. were provided in the room. Wi-Fi was not there. Food was good. It was restaurant type. Varieties were less there. Both veg and non-veg food was available there. Price wise, it was reasonable. Swimming pool and other activities were not there. Garden was there. Activities were average. I visited there in December 2011 with a group of families for relaxation.

The resort is set in a garden with many flowering plants. The common areas are spacious and stylishly furnished while the cottages are a decent size and comfortable. There is a very pleasant atmosphere about the whole place. The Resort arranged a safari, on elephant-back, in the jungle for us which we enjoyed thoroughly; saw rhinos, a variety of deer, wild boar, etc.
Bohabi Resort is a an excellent place to stay within Kaziranga Forest. The resort has an ample open area. My children enjoyed the one night stay in the resort. The staff were very good-mannered. The food we had there was also very tasty and good. The room was very comfortable and cosy.
Owing to a change in our programme we arrived in Kaziranga a day ahead of plan. We were booked at Wild Grass Lodge the following day, so we had to find alternate accommodation for a night. We were informed in Jorhat that Bon Habi is a nice place to stay, so we drove directly to this resort and were fortunate to get a nice room at a very reasonable rate at that place. The main lock is an old mansion tastefully furnished. This houses the reception, lounge and dining hall. The rooms are set apart in small buildings not far from the main block. Though the rooms are not very large, they are very comfortable and the attached toilets are also well designed and equipped. The choice of food in their restaurant is somewhat limited, so we chose to drive out to nearby 'dhabas' which dot the NH for our main meals. The resort arranges your trips to the National Park very efficiently, and their staff accompanies you for the elephant ride as well as the jeep safari. All in all a value for money option, specially for the budget traveller.
We recently had the pleasure of visiting Kaziranga National Park, Assam, when we stayed at the Bonhabi Resort. The resort is situated quite close to the National Park gate and is spread over quite a big area. The rooms are mostly individual cottages, and are quite spacious and comfortable. The layout of the cottages, however needs a rethink, I guess. The verandah of the cottages are on the hind side of the cottages from where there is no view available apart from the resort fence. On the contrary if the verandah is placed on the front side, one can get a nice view of the small duck pond, the main dining hall and the reception bungalow. The paint on the cottages is pinkish red and it does not match the green surrounding. The management may consider off-white or cream colour to the external walls and green roofs. Internal paint is off-white and good. The rooms or at least the common areas like dining hall need wi-fi connection so that the guests can stay in touch with the world outside. The dining hall as well as the gazebos outside it, are quite spacious and well maintained. The food served at the resort is very good quality and reasonable priced. The management may consider adding some more recreational facilities like a cards room, chess tables, carom boards, etc and some game equipment for the kids in the garden. The staff was prompt, polite and courteous....full marks to them on that count. The cottages being at a bit of a distance from the main dining hall, I would recommend better illumination along the pathway between cottages up to the dining hall.
We stayed between sep 2013 for 3 nights in this wonderful hotel. The location is absolutely brilliant being only All the staff were very helpful. The breakfasts were excellent with a wide selection of hot and cold offerings. The added complimentary cold sparkling wine (Champagne) was a bonus morning enlivener ! Generally eating and drinking out was very cheap compared to many Euro Zone countries ! We had a fantastic meal out with a huge Czech meat feast with dumplings and several Czech beers for about £13.50 each... wonderful !! Overall a great find and a great stay...highly recommended !!
