This little village can boast of Shivkumar's Panipuri where the chaat is all very freshly made and really tasty! The best wadis are also available here unlike the big batatavadas of Mumbai these are small, spicy and fantastic to eat.They are made of a special 'masala' that all the shops selling the wadis know and they are hot and crisp and best eaten with a small pav which is alo supplied by these sellers. If you want dessert after the wadis and chaat but the local chickoos, or lithchis (if you are there in May) and enjoy.

Comments: Worst Experience with the Management. We had booked 4 Super Deluxe Room nearly 1 month before Holi and to our utter disbelief, on our arrival, we were informed that no Booking confirmation was received by them even though they had received payment in full. Still worse, we were made to put up in 2 Non AC rooms in a nearby hotel with 8 Adults and 3 Childrens. We had a 2N3D Pacakage but just could not manage beyond 24 hrs and checked out. We requested management for pro-rata refund but management behaved very unprofessionally and arrogantly avoided us. We have already contacted our lawyers for legal recourse.
Best Experience: NONE!!

It is a good place to spend weekends. The climate is very good, the beach is clean. Beachside Hotel looks good, even the swimming pool is good. But the quality of food is not upto the mark, even the service is not good enough. the service and food is strictly OK. Rest overall the experience was good....

Overall a nice place to chill out for a day or two. The sea was not as clean as I read about, but the drive from Narpad to Bordi was very good and scenic. The beach at Bordi was better - we found a nice lonely place where one could site and look at the sea and enjoy the nice breeze. There were trees all around which made the experience even better....

Overall, the experience was pretty good, keeping in mind that we had gone there for only a 28 hour period. Once you get off at Dahanu, just ask the rickshaw to take you to the hotel (40 bucks max). After a 15 minute ride we arrived at the hotel, and in 5 minutes were in the room we had booked. We got a decently sized room for 4, with a T.V. and a powerful air-conditioner (1500 bucks per day).
