Everything was good like behavior of the officer, stuff members....and service was also good...Room was well hygienic and food was awesome and very tasty...I am very satisfied...I want to stay in your resort again......I would like to thank you all for good service....
Total cleanliness was very poor. Toilet was full of bad smell all the time. Overall maintenance was very poor. Actvities sponsored are very clumsy like an amusement park. Path inside the boundry is uneven. If all these situations improve then definitely think for next trip.
The resort is located outside the city of Guwahati. It is located within the forest in the slope of the hill. The resort have two roomed many small cottages for two families. The executive rooms are well furnished with modern amenities. Their room service is quite time taken but very good. One can enjoy different activities there. One can get the flavour of staying within the nature in this resort.
I have been to this place several times and i must say it's one of my favourite places. The ambience and the place is superb and any age can have a good time out there. Hospitality of the people out there in the resort is a must say😊 In one word to describe the place is EXCELLENT
Guwahati, the gateway to North East, with the capital of Assam, Dispur, within its confines, beckons travellers with its charming hospitality. A darshan of Maa Kamakhya, its protector, was on the cards from 2013 when my marriage was planned and finally in October 2015, I was brought to Maa. Guwahati, nestled at the foothills of Garo hills of Meghalaya on the banks of the mighty masculine Brahmaputra and a stepping stone to the verdant forest cover of Assam at world famous Kaziranga, Pobitora and Manas home to the one horned rhinos and the gentle pachyderms, to the delightful world's largest freshwater island at Majuli along with the world's smallest one too at Umananda, both in the lap of the roaring Brahmaputra, acres and to the acres of tea gardens towards Dibrugarh and as mentioned above, home to the presiding deities of Maa at Kamakhya and Baba Bholenath at Sibsagar, is a must visit destination to understand the gentle greatness of the Ahom kingdom and to enjoy the other offerings of north east, particularly Shillong, Cherrapunjee, Mawsynram and Mablung of neighboring Meghalaya as well as Imphal and Tawang. Encompassing all the moods above is the wonderful little resort, the Brahmaputra Jungle resort. Very conveniently located on the Dibrugarh highway towards Jorhat, it is just 32 km from the flights and trains arriving at Guwahati. Discounting the traffic jungle of Guwahati, it is an hours drive from the airport. Boards at the highway are a little difficult to locate in the dark but the resort staff constantly guided our driver after we had overshot the turning. And then, our stay was truly a delightful experience. The entry to the resort from the highway has tea gardens soothing your sight. A very polite, courteous and warm staff made sure every amenity was provided. The rooms had everything, down to the shoe cleaner too. Do carry shaving kit, barber is a little way off. The rooms are Assam Bungalow types among trees of various kinds on gentle slopes. A right mix of beverages complementing the mouth watering ample portions of veg and non veg fare on offer simply makes my mouth water now, the cooking, the masalas and the taste were heavenly, please do try their Kadai Paneer, it is the best I have had in India. Try the various local non veg fares too, you will carry the memories forever. Various activities including elephant rides, pony rides, swimming, trekking and indoor activities are designed to keep the guests occupied and give a feel of the north east. It is peaceful to walk around in the landscape and meet the brood of ducks along the little pond. I am coming back there again to unwind, as this time my time was short and purpose was visiting Maa. See you all there!
My visit to this hotel was in the month of November 2016 with family. Destination was excellent. Location of the hotel was inside the city and was near bus stop and railway station, was excellent. Appearance of the hotel was excellent from interior and exterior. Garden facility available in the hotel. Check in & check out was done on time. Staff was cooperative and good. Service was on time and was excellent. Room was neat and spacious. All amenities were available with working condition. Wi-Fi facility was available in the hotel. Food was excellent in quality and quantity and variety of dishes were available. Activities were excellent.
Resort Location is good and atmosphere is quite pleasant. The behaviour of all the the staff is good and rooms decoration is well. We enjoyed too much at your resort and the food quality is quite good. The elephant ride offered by the hotel and other amusement park activities are very attractive. We would like to visit this resort again.
It is a excellent resort with best quality food, top hospitality & all other services. I with my family stayed for 2 nights 3 days there and we enjoyed the best. Kid playing facilities is also very good. It is a perfect for family get-together destination. I wish them all the Best & hoping to visit again.
We have selected the destination as a one of the holiday destination. It was great time we had in jungle resort. My kids enjoyed the rides very much, especially elephant ride. Also rooms are very neat and tidy with perfect room service. The bed and the lining mattress are very perfect for the season. The television channels are not so good. Picture quality also not well. It was difficult to enjoy the swimming pools as it dose not having heater. Solar water heating may be provide for more fun. My son enjoyed the elephant ride, however, he disappointed with fishing, since not found any thing at least in naked eyes. There is no clarity whether your are having local transports facility to pickup and drop in your resort. It is always better to pickup and drop in the respective destination. So that the unaware tourist may not be cheated by others. As far as food is concerns we have tasted your traditional food which was tastier (something made out of brinjal). Overall our stay in Brahmaputra Jungle Resort is in our memories forever.
