In the month of December I visited this hotel. It was a holiday trip with friends. The trip was good and it was an adventurous trip. The location was very good. Temple visit was best in this destination. The hotel location was good and the environment was pretty good. The appearance was good. The interior was good. The front office also good and the staff's also behaved well and quite responsive. The booking was done very fast. The room was good and also it was clean. The amenities in the room also good The service was also very good and prompt and pretty generous and responsive. The food and drink also available and very good. The activity part in the hotel was good like swimming pool and there was an elephant round. The activity part was very good. There was WiFi and complimentary breakfast available. There was also travel desk facility available and it was good. It was good overall throughout my stay and the place was pretty enjoyable with family also.
The resort was very beautiful the overall experience was too good. There was no difficulty in locating the resort. The hotel is 35km away from the railway station. The resort provided a vehicle for pick and drop. The resort was close to the jungle. The destination was too good. The resort location was not attractive. The interiors were neat and clean and the ambience was good but outside the resort wasn't that attractive. There was no delay in check-in, check-out. The staff were very few but they were okay and the service was not that much better. The room was spacious, neat and clean with the amenities like TV geyser functioning well. The resort food was too good and the quality was again good. Cost of the food was affordable there, not much variety as it was in the midst of the jungle, it was satisfactory. There were many indoor and outdoor activities like safari, swimming pool, family activities were extraordinary. It was value for money and would like to recommend this hotel.
My overall experience at this hotel was good. The hotel has a convenient location with good ambience. The room was neat and clean maintained with functioning amenities and had a garden view from the room. The staff and services were quick and friendly. The hotel provides both veg and non-veg food facilities but I had tasted non-veg which was good in taste and quality wise. There were some activities like elephant rides etc. There were no sightseeing trips organized by the hotel. The hotel was valuable for the money I had spent for.
Guwahati, the gateway to North East, with the capital of Assam, Dispur, within its confines, beckons travellers with its charming hospitality. A darshan of Maa Kamakhya, its protector, was on the cards from 2013 when my marriage was planned and finally in October 2015, I was brought to Maa Guwahati, nestled at the foothills of Garo hills of Meghalaya on the banks of the mighty masculine Brahmaputra and a stepping stone to the verdant forest cover of Assam at world famous Kaziranga, Pobitora and Manas home to the one horned rhinos and the gentle pachyderms, to the delightful world's largest freshwater island at Majuli along with the world's smallest one too at Umananda, both in the lap of the roaring Brahmaputra, acres and to the acres of tea gardens towards Dibrugarh and as mentioned above, home to the presiding deities of Maa at Kamakhya and Baba Bholenath at Sibsagar, is a must visit destination to understand the gentle greatness of the Ahom kingdom and to enjoy the other offerings of north east, particularly Shillong, Cherrapunjee, Mawsynram and Mablung of neighboring Meghalaya as well as Imphal and Tawang Encompassing all the moods above is the wonderful little resort, the Brahmaputra Jungle resort. Very conveniently located on the Dibrugarh highway towards Jorhat, it is just 32 km from the flights and trains arriving at Guwahati. Discounting the traffic jungle of Guwahati, it is an hours drive from the airport. Boards at the highway are a little difficult to locate in the dark but the resort staff constantly guided our driver after we had overshot the turning. And then, our stay was truly a delightful experience. The entry to the resort from the highway has tea gardens soothing your sight A very polite, courteous and warm staff made sure every amenity was provided. The rooms had everything, down to the shoe cleaner too. Do carry shaving kit, barber is a little way off. The rooms are Assam Bungalow types among trees of various kinds on gentle slopes. A right mix of beverages complementing the mouth watering ample portions of veg and non veg fare on offer simply makes my mouth water now, the cooking, the masalas and the taste were heavenly, please do try their Kadai Paneer, it is the best I have had in India. Try the various local non veg fares too, you will carry the memories forever Various activities including elephant rides, pony rides, swimming, trekking and indoor activities are designed to keep the guests occupied and give a feel of the north east. It is peaceful to walk around in the landscape and meet the brood of ducks along the little pond. I am coming back there again to unwind, as this time my time was short and purpose was visiting Maa. See you all there!
I have visited Guwahati for a holiday trip with my friends in the month of August. There I booked a hotel named Hotel Brahmaputra Resort. The destination was good. Location of the hotel was very good. It was in a very peaceful area. Looks of the hotel were not so good. Reception staff of the hotel was poor. The person in the front office was a little bit slow and that is why he could not handle properly. Overall staff service of the hotel was also very good. They were very friendly. Room provided by the hotel was very good again. Room was neat and clean and I liked the interior. I booked AC room. Food and drink of the hotel were good. I liked the quality. They didn't provide us with any other activities in the hotel. Lift facility was not available in the resort. I booked the hotel through Make My Trip. According to my experience they can improve their front office service.
