I went with my family for relaxation and spent 3 nights and 4 days. The property is really a 5 star property. Location is very good, around 5 km away from Mahabaleshwar Market. Quiet and green. Huge property with okay club house, very good swimming pool. Swimming pool is very clean and separate part for small children which provides safety. Rooms are very neat and well equipped with TV, DVD player. Nice bathroom with necessary soaps, shampoo, etc. House keeping is outstanding. Staff is courteous and gives prompt service. Very good complimentary breakfast. Meals are good, but expensive. Restaurant near pool gives you unique experience. The best time could be June end, after initial showers or even during heavy showers. But you need to have vehicle. For meals you can go 3 km towards Mahabaleshwar market to have good and reasonable restaurants. Next time I would visit in July, during heavy showers and take some good movies, books and enjoy nature in relaxed mood.
Stayed for 1 night, impressive place great ambience, good food. Went in extreme rains really nice view. They should keep some indoor activity for small kids as in rains our small kid got bored. Too many hotels there was no one to guide well as to which hotel has which kind of food. Spa was good experience but a little too expensive. Staff like any other hotel was not attentive on arrival but on departure keep moving around for tip. I am not against giving tio but don't like when they sort of forcefully expect it.
I visited Mahabaleshwar with my family last year. I decided to stay in this hotel after Reading the reviews from Holidayiq. The appearance of the hotel is good but I found that the hotel cannot be counted as a budget hotel. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. The rooms were good. The staff was cooperative. The room service was great. I enjoyed the stay. The special mention was the swimming pool where all the kids of my family enjoyed a lot.
My wife and I were on a honeymoon trip and Brightland Holiday Village was suggested by my aunt. The journey to the hotel is exiting in its own way, especially when it rains The location is awesome and is strategically placed to view both the valley and the mountains. The staff and reception were courteous and pleasant with their behaviour. The room we rented was a small cottage which looked over the valley. It was all surrounded by a well maintained garden. The room had couple of double beds, fridge, 2 TV sets and other amenities for a comfortable stay. The breakfast had a huge range of cuisine, involving, western, Indian and continental foods. The bar is a cool place to visit too. The food was excellent too and important to mention is strawberries and strawberry ice cream or with cream. The room service was excellent too. Every evening, all the guest gathered at the central hall for activities like lotto, Karaoke, magic shows, etc. We both enjoyed being a part of it There is taxi service for sight seeing and for leisure at the market and boating, available at the front desk We highly recommend Brightland Holiday Village at Mahabaleshwar.
We had gone in June 2014. It is a decent property offering great views of the valley and pretty close to the elephants point !! The room we had booked is the upper pool view. It's decent and nothing extraordinary about it. Guess there are better rooms in higher categories !! The Indian food was disappointing though. We liked the Italian food being served In the restaurant Olive Garden though! Overall it's one of the good properties to stay in Mahabaleshwar.
