Great old buildings with courtyards, trees, greenery. Big terraces on roofs tops. Simple room with high ceiling. Good quality / price ratio. Fashioned charm, that quiet place is perfect to rest from the bustle of the capital. Charming hotel because of the company of fellow neighbors and the beautiful old architecture of the place. For some quiet privacy it will do. Decent money exchange, the staff can get a bit invading on personal space, but harmless.
It was very nice place to stay and the service was good. The room was clean and very good atmosphere. Food is very good and the mainly it is reasonable cost. Very good hotel to stay. Totally, I had good experience to stay in this hotel. Everything was fine.
Its a very old building wonderfully maintained. I have visited here for my touring purpose. Its a pretty decent place with nice staff members. Rooms are large spacious with little bit dirty and smelling. They will charge for the WiFi usage. Food is excellent and overall a value for money hotel.
I been keep traveling all around the world for business trip! I stayed here last month and rooms are available according tariffs like double or single bedroom. Beds are soft, got a nice sleep. The most I liked in this hotel is fastest WiFi which helped me a lot for my work. Food in restaurant is awesome, specially south Indian. Overall a price worthy hotel.
To say about Broadcast Hotel, Chennai, I must say it is an average budget hotel, with good quality rooms and bathrooms. Overall, service and staff at the front desk are quite polite and kind. Food quality is good. I stayed in this hotel for two days and I must say it is a decent stay here.
We stayed here for 1 day. Rooms are well-maintained. Well received by the staff. Service is good. It is a best place for middle class travelers. Food quality is ok. Room service is great. It is worth every penny spent. I recommend this hotel to every one.
well the place was jus great, a beautiful room, nice view from the room, it was so quiet, Chennai was my first destination in india and i jus settled down to get rid of my jet lag, the terrace of the hotel is simply great, there's a moslem place of worship behind the hotel which adds to the calmness. the staff were very nice and cooperative. i checked in at 3 in the morning, they were good enough to let me check in and deal with the paperwork in the morning. i think some people come with a lot of expectations about the place , but its a very back-packers sort of way but still clean and calm, if one is rushing off to travel then u wont like it here... if you are travelling to really travel then this is the place,
Have visited Broadlands many times since my first visit in 1984. My last visit to India is 12 years back and that broadlands is the only hotel name I remember and want to return to says a lot :-)
