WEATHER IN DARJILING ON 1ST JUNE
Hi, I am planning a trip to Darjeeling,Gangtok & Kalingpong between 28th May & 8th June. I will like to know the possibility of rain spoiling my trip. Does it rain there around May end? Is it worth travelling to these destinations at that time? Suggest good hotels & best way of moving around for two couples.Will it be difficult [read :safe] to travel on my own or should I go with group tours?

Ropeway ride in darjeeling/sikim
I am visiting Darjeeling and Sikkim alongwith 3 more families in April 2010. Enjoying a ropeway ride at Darjeeling was one of the agenda in our itinerary. However, when I contacted a tour operator at Darjeeling, he informed me that the Ropeway rides are presently not functioning? Is that true?
