Calangute food, sight-seeing and shopping options
Goa is a place of Exotic food where you can get various type of cuisines of prawns, crabs, sharks tuna, squids and lots more. You can visit any nearby beach shack to have fresh and hot food. Goa is famous for its feni and urrac, these are local alcoholic drinks. Feni comes in two flavours - coconut and cashew. Taste of feni is a bit weird but still you must taste it.

Comments: overall experience was below expectation and would not like to visit it ever again
Best Experience: well maintained swimming pool, clean rooms, and good property for a boutique resort
Worst Experience: poor quality and choice of food
being in Goa, the hotel never offerred any fish as part of the package which included all meals. Also quality of food was below expectation
4-5 marie biscuites were given as part of the cookies given on arrival at the hotel. no body had asked hotel to provide cookies but by giving marie biscuits was a very poor gesture
poor quality of service. personally had to run around and follow-up multiple times to get the attention. It was evident that the hotel was being run with extremely short staff to compromise on service quality
overall extremely poor show on food and service quality

Hi All. I went for my Vacation to this 'Botique Resort' earlier this year & had a horrible experience. It's a perfect example of a decent hotel property which is poorly managed. Lousy Food,Torn Bed Linen,Lethargic Room Service, Poor cleanliness, poorer service levels at exhorbitant prices. Nice and cozy hotel around 10 minutes walking distance from calangute beach. The rooms were clean and spacious but the bathroom needs to be renovated. staff were polite and helpful. Buffet breakfast served was good. Rooms are located around the swimming pool with balconies overlooking the pool. The tariff we paid was value for money for the off season but the seasonal tariff seems to be quite high considering the rooms and services offered....

I had gone for a conference and decided to extend by shifting to Casa De Goa. The resort has mediterranean type villas which are simple, spacious and good for families or couples. It spreads on both sides of the road. It was monsoon time so Goa was beautifully green - though we could not venture out to the beach. My experience at this resort was horrible. They had some problems with the power supply and all night long the AC switched on and off every 5 minutes. There was no use complaining. They refused to move us to another room and the manager was convienently unavailable for guests. I was so irritated, that we checked out the next morning and checked into another resort....
