Hotel Review of Colonia Santa Maria
Comments: I and my fiancee were there in Sept.07.It was my first visit to Goa but lemme assure you,its the first of many.Fell in love with the place,the relaxed pace of life and the smiling people.The first two days the rain was so heavy that i've never seen anything like it in north india but the amazing thing is that there is no water logging anytime.The resort itself is an amazing place.We were in the last block(the closest to the beach-do ask for it).The sound of waves crashing is an amazing lulabby.The staff esp. the front desk is very helpful,very courteous and friendly.You can not help but fall in love with the ambience.Three cheers for CSM...Guys,you rock!!!
Best Experience: Overall its hard to pinpoint one particular thing which made it memorable but the atmosphere,the resort,the people everything was amazing.The food in the resort is just o.k. but then who wants to eat there when there are so many options??'Xavier's Beach Shack' very nr. to the resort is awesome.The guy has the best collection of any genre of music i have ever come across.John is an amazing host.Hey John!will see you soon again!.If you have the time go to Quokiro's( restaurant, i know i spelt it wrong) and Suza lobo.The sea food will knock you over.Also visit Tito's and Mambo's(the Disco).The beef patty which you get at Tito's for Rs.10(yes,Rs.10!!) is amazing. shopping is good but do haggle.
Worst Experience: nothing really except that the guys from housekeeping would wake us up at ten...how uncouth!!!who wants to wake up at ten in Goa???besides that???nothing.an event,a vacation worth remembering,worth sharing worth repeating.

I went to this hotel last month in the rainy season that is june which is cosidered to be the off season and the hotel staff was relaxed but i still had a very good experience. Sea is just close by and i had a very decent view from the room itself. rooms were very clean and comfortable but toilets were very small....

Hotel Review of Colonia Santa Maria
The location of the resort is perfect....it is so close to the beach that we could go anytime...also the rooms were very cosy and well done.there was also this amazing bookshop where we borrowed/bought books to read on the holiday. food wise also it was well surounded by good hotels and the food of the resort is also good with curteous service at all points of time....so all in all a great experience in a very good hotel....

We wanted a Resort by the sea side comfortable for a family of four-my husband me and my 2 kids -13 and 10yrs.CSM was perfect-right on the clean and beautiful Baga Beach.We had a full floor of the cottage to ourselves(two large rooms) It was just 2 minutes walk to the beach and the Shack.Though we went off season (Aug 2005) the permanent shack there called The Buzz was more than sufficient to keep us happy-the fishermen caught live fish...

the resort is excellently located right on the beach between baga & calangute !! its an awesome experince to stay at this place. the rooms r good & the ppl r good too. the resort is right in the middle of happng restaurants, shoppg, pubs etc.. the beach has access to all sort of water sports & other beach activites. an gaon holiday at its best. although the resort can improve on its own rooms & activities....

the resort has an great & private location right in front of the sea. the rooms are good but can still be improved. room service is a bit lacking & the resort needs more activities. restaurant is gr88 & overall its a gr8 place to be !!...

we had a grt stay at csm in feb this year...goa beckons us with its sun sea and sun every year and like 2 hankering adults we are back there every 6 months. the flea markets , the sea, the people, the climate , we love all things possible about goa....and love and cherish each experience as if it was new....
