Friends, I will be visiting Goa in December (7th to 11th). I would want to stay in an AC room in a beach side hotel at either Calngute or Candolim or Miramar Beach. Please help me in finding a suitable hotel which is clean and safe (as I will have my family) at a cost of below Rs. 1000. Please help me in this regards as I have no idea about Goa hotels.
Does anyone know where I can download a map of the Candolim beach shacks - I have today noticed that "John the map" website has disappeared. Also - any advice where I can find Bono's beach shack? Finally - staying at Alegria de Goa from 17th March 2008 which I notice has no reviews. Does anybody have any pictures or comments etc and can you recommend nearby beach shacks and restaurants please? Thanks Paul and Sue
Hi All, I will be traveling Goa in March 08. I am looking for a budget accommodation and have shortlisted Don Hill Resort and Ave Maria Resort ,both located on Candolim beach Goa. will be using hotel just to sleep and take rest.Would like to know which one of the two is better in terms of room interiors and location (Peaceful but not desolate).
