Candolim Beach food, sight-seeing and shopping options
Besides the beach you can do some serious shopping. Super Tailors will make you a suit or a dress in a couple of days and boutiques like Glimpses of India have up market leather goods, clothes and housewares at good prices There are dozens of jewellers that, if they haven't got what you want, will make it for you. You should take a taxi to the Wednesday market at Anjuna to do some serious haggling and bring back bargains of every description. After 7 is a wonderful restaurant in the garden of the owner's mansion. His camembert souffle is to die for! The Mermaid is run by a Goan/Swedish couple and their food is a delicious mix of the Goan and traditional.

Hotel Review of Casablanca Beach Resorts
Comments: Goa is a place where u will forget all your worries and have a blast. It was my 2nd trip to goa .We had reached Goa by train and the scenic beauty all around during our train route was spendid. We landed at Thivim railway station instead of madgaon(we had landed here on our first visit) as Somebody in our train journey told us that its better u land at thivim bcoz north goa beaches are nearer to thivim railway station(we at first hadnt heard of thivim railway station). It was nice gesture on the part of that person otherwise it would have cost us a lot in cab from madgaon to candolim Beach. As soon as we landed on station,we felt a breath of fresh air surrounding us unlike pollution in our city air.Thivim station has well managed cab facility to the surrounding beaches. It cost us Rs 400 from station to the resort. Our journey was little bit tiring in cab as the cab person made us go round and round near beach and he couldnt find our resort. When we reached the resort the view was not pleasing on first glance and also the beach was not visible. We got a little disturbed but the staff there at the desk was very courteous and we had a smooth check-in in our room.Room was very nice cosy one with an attached bathroom and an adjoing TV Room.We had booked online this resort for just Rs 825(breakfast inclusive),but after check-in we realized it worth much more Rs,we banged a great deal and pat each other back for our smartness.haaaaa.The whole evening we leisured out at the beach,it was off-season was was not crowded so we had a great time at the sea.If you want the sea by yourself then visit during offseason. Its true u wont be able to see other activities during off-season but will have the sea 4 yourself. The hotel also arranged for us north goa and south goa tours. The hotel also had a well maintained clean swimming pool which my daughter used to her fullest contenment, she was happy like anything with the pool. The dining area was adjoining the pool and very clean. The room were also cleaned everyday without our asking.Overrall our experience with the resort was excellent. Its worth visiting next time.
Best Experience: Our best experience was the hotel itself. The smiling faces of the staff everytime they greeted us.The cleanliness of the hotel, the architecture of the hotel and just a 3 mins walk to the sea from the resort. It is a well maintained hotel.
Worst Experience: Well actually none.It would have been better if we would have been served moring tea in our room.Instad we had to walk to the restaurant for the tea,but that ththings can be overlooked by the postive response from the staff in other things.Thumps up for a rocking holiday.

They have good basic facility at the hotel. (Swimming pool, Bar, Rest, TV Fridge and geyser in room). Not quite at the beach but very near to beach and have beach view rooms. The rooms were clean...

There's no place like Goa to head to when you want to calm your stressed mind and body. As soon as you land at Dabolim airport, the tropical scenery and humidity relaxes you completely and you will find yourself getting as laidback as the locals as you wait patiently in a queue for your cab dirver to arrive. This year, we headed out to Goa over the Diwali break in November for some R&R. Due to the delay in making bookings,...

We have stayed in a well-maintained and comfortable “Casablanca beach resort” over the October 2nd weekend. it is located very close to the Candolim Beach, 2 minutes walk away to ATM’s & Restaurants. they have provided a unlimited, nice break-fast and it is a self service. Booking through online is quiet easy and they are doing it well. we roam around the goa beaches with the Casablanca’s ‘Innova’ car. We have taken the ‘KERALA KALARI MASSAGE’ this is also worth for...
