Candolim Beach food, sight-seeing and shopping options
Besides the beach you can do some serious shopping. Super Tailors will make you a suit or a dress in a couple of days and boutiques like Glimpses of India have up market leather goods, clothes and housewares at good prices
There are dozens of jewellers that, if they haven't got what you want, will make it for you.
You should take a taxi to the Wednesday market at Anjuna to do some serious haggling and bring back bargains of every description.
After 7 is a wonderful restaurant in the garden of the owner's mansion. His camembert souffle is to die for! The Mermaid is run by a Goan/Swedish couple and their food is a delicious mix of the Goan and traditional.

Hotel Review of Sodder's Beach Classic
Comments: when we arrived in goa it was a real culture shock. but once we arrived in candolim we liked saw.what we
Best Experience: the indian people are very friendly and cannot do enough for us tourists.food is gorgeous.its so cheap and plenty of bargains in leather gold and gems.
Worst Experience: the undercurrents are very dangerous have claimed quite a few lifes.dont .wade out too far
