You can't choose a better location for mountain resort. But the best thing is you feel closer to the wilderness. But inside the buildings there is scope of improvement. More

I had been to Carmelia Haven in Dec. Jan 2004 with my wife and son. The resort itself is majestic. Surrounded by thick vegetation and home to the largest cardamom plantation. Food was great. Air is pure and the atmosphere is rejuvenating. Place is... More

About Carmelia Haven (Tree House)

Carmelia Haven is 4 km from the town centre. It is 150 km away from Madurai Airport and the nearest railhead is at Kottayam, which is 134 km away. The resort provides sightseeing packages to the tourists. On request, guests are also provided with plantation visits.

Rooms & Amenities

The resort covers an area of 55 acres. There are 30 rooms in the resort, which are classified as Cottages, Tree Houses, Suite Rooms, Standard rooms and Cave Rooms. Amenities provided by Carmelia Haven are Doctor on call, Travel desk, Swimming pool, Conference hall, Gymnasium, Health club, Car parking and Laundry service. The resort has indoor and outdoor gaming facilities. The resort has a coffee shop too along with an in-house restaurant and bar.
