"Good infrastructure "

Good infrastructure and some staff members know service well. However they have some unsafe jeep ride and equally unsafe boating experience...try only of you are adventurous.

It was great. Stay was comfortable as well as enjoyable

Best Experience: the trip to plantation and the cultural show was awesome!

Worst Experience: the place was far away from the periyar nationalpark. we missed the whole activity.

About Carmelia Haven (Tree House)

Carmelia Haven is 4 km from the town centre. It is 150 km away from Madurai Airport and the nearest railhead is at Kottayam, which is 134 km away. The resort provides sightseeing packages to the tourists. On request, guests are also provided with plantation visits.

Rooms & Amenities

The resort covers an area of 55 acres. There are 30 rooms in the resort, which are classified as Cottages, Tree Houses, Suite Rooms, Standard rooms and Cave Rooms. Amenities provided by Carmelia Haven are Doctor on call, Travel desk, Swimming pool, Conference hall, Gymnasium, Health club, Car parking and Laundry service. The resort has indoor and outdoor gaming facilities. The resort has a coffee shop too along with an in-house restaurant and bar.
