The plus point is that this is the only hotel which is situated inside the park. It is run by. The service, upkeep and food are a good as they can get by government run hotels. Just come in the lobby of the hotel and you can see the sambhars and Cheetals . Having a Binocs is a good thing on the terrace and one can view quite a wild life around. It is told that on one occasion the tiger came and sat down near the entrance . You cannot walk around the hotel and would have to go out for getting anything for daily use. A vehicle is must have to visit the hotel
My overall experience at this hotel was good and the hotel was located conveniently hence there were no difficulties in travelling. The appearance of the hotel was good and the staff members were good in services. The room allotted was good with all essential facilities in good working condition. There was no delay during sign in and sign out process. The hotel was worth for the money.
The location of the hotel is unique and fantastic. The food was good. The services are again very good. The staff is courteous. Everything else is below average. The size of the rooms is very small. The maintenance requires a lot of improvement. The directions for the hotel should start from the town. One would normally miss the entrance. But the view from the hotel overtakes everything.
The hotel was located near to the city. The surrounding of the hotel was very nice and clean. The interior and exterior of the hotel was good and attractive. The staffs at the hotel were kind and polite. The check in and checkout process was not delayed. The room given to me was comfortable and bathroom was clean. The amenities in the room were worked well. I was not able to see any view from my balcony. The hot and cold water facility was provided. The laundry service was not there at the hotel. The food which they served was fine but taste was not so good. The price of food was reasonable. The activities like swimming pool, gym, spa, etc. were not arranged by the hotel. The destination was very good. The Overall experience was very memorable. I would like to visit this hotel again. I would like to recommend this hotel for other travellers.
Very adjacent to Ranthambore forest, 10 tents and rooms for double occupancy, family accommodation is available. Property is surrounded by lush greenery with trees and maintained. In the morning one can hear sounds of birds crippling. Very close to nature away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Staff were courteous, though they were Government staff.
I went to Ranthambore with my office colleagues and stayed at this hotel for 1 night Castle is situated at hill top in buffer area of Ranthambore sanctuary. The 3 km road, solely constructed to reach at this castle goes through the forest connects it to main road. You can encounter lot of wild animals on this road. You will enjoy excellent Rajasthani hospitality. The castle gets more better in night as after climbing on roof of this hill top castle, you feel like surrounded by jungle with big mountain and full of serenity The quality of food is average and has unusual taste. Rooms are good, designed in old castle style gets filled with irritating flying insects during night especially in rainy season. You can also get lucky to see lizards in your bathroom, so be ready for all this and no kind staff will be of any help for this as on begging for help The only activity to get you engage is looking for expensive Rajasthani handicraft/Wildlife accessories in the mini shop pitched in the castle To sum up, I would recommend you to explore this place at your own risk. No doubt it has the excellent location, nice site for clicking photographs and provides different remote and wild experience but without activities, meagre quality of food and rooms does not make this place to stay for more than 1 night Don't prefer to get your room/suite allotted on top floor because of insects and avoid rainy season for visiting it.
It was very easy to reach the hotel, the staff at reception very helpful. They carried my luggage to the room, services in the hotel was up to the mark. Food was excellent in the hotel and room was spacious and clean and maintain. They did not conduct and activity in the hotel and we enjoyed a lot.
Hotel was very good. It was located inside the jungle. They provided the whole package in which breakfast, lunch, and dinner and pickup and drop facility included. Coffee maker, mini-bar, freeze, intercom, and all amenities were available in the room. WiFi and swimming pool was not there because it was in the jungle. Running water, separate bathroom etc. Were available there. They used to change the pillow covers and all and clean the room daily. Service of the hotel was quick and on time. There was buffet system. Indian, continental, and all varieties were available in this hotel. View of jungle was visible from the room. Every room had open terrace. Location of the hotel was excellent. Look wise, it was excellent. Reception, service, food or everything were excellent there. Reception was marvelous there. As a place, it is excellent. I went there with my family in January. Car parking facility was also provided by them.
The best hotel in Ranthambore, which is located on a hill top with all possible wild life around. Food was reasonably good but certainly overpriced. Front office and manager was not helpful and others were equally rude. It is a heritage property of Rajasthan tourism, where room interiors and exteriors were commensurate with the tag but no touch of royalty should be expected that comes with other royal heritage hotels.
Hotel is good and interior is very good. Food quality is very good and good thing is hotel is adjoining with park so we are enjoying wild life very nearly. Location is very prime. It is very near by park and so many deer and wild boar roaming there and peacock and walking dogs.
We got superlative weather. Mornings had a nip in the air. Evenings were cool and breezy. The trip to the forest was in a roofless Canter. The drivers and the guide was friendly and made good effort to locate animals. We saw a young tigress from very close. She was lazing in a small water body. She has been collered and names T17. It was a fantastic view. We also saw a lot of birds along with wild boars, crocodiles and not to mention various antelopes. Each trip to the sanctuary coasted Rs 425/- per person (booked through the hotel front desk), Depts. rate being Rs 325/- but we got good route. The forest is a mix of usually very dry (route 1, 4, 5) to a few very green parts (route 2 , 3) As for the stay we took a suite which coasted us Rs 5200/- per day with food for a couple. As the place was an old hunting lodge the rooms were odd shaped and with out much natural light. Later I found that rooms on third floor ie. 301, 302, 303, 304 are better and cheaper. The place is located well. We were told that in April onwards in summer the tiger comes near the castle to drink water in a nearby water body.
This hotel is said to be the hunting lodge of the Maharajas. It is on the top of a small hillock actually within the sanctuary. You can see many animals in the compound of the hotel in the night, specially dears and other animals. Food served is good. Rooms are also good and are kept like the old original rooms. The hotel provides service for booking Canters for Jungle Safari, but if you want to travel by jeep then you will have to do it personally. If you are lucky enough you can hear tigers roar in the night.
It was awesome as you can forget everything once you reach there and thats is a real vacation where you actually get refreshed and recharged.
Ranthambore is a quiet, laidback, cool place in winters. Very good for total relaxation. However, holiday season is avoidable since the whole town is teaming with tourists, and even the animals in the safari seem aware of this. You are not likely to see a tiger when there are 700 tourists going into the park everyday!
very good service , good stay , food OK , you should book your safari for jungle visit ONLINE.
