This is a stay arranged in a Kanya gurukulam where girls are taught upto graduation free of cost. The place is quite and abutting the paschima vahini of Cauvery river. The approach is a little deep and reaching without own transport may be difficult. But once you are there everything is taken care of.

Had a wonderful experience at Cauvery Sannidhi Mysore. Its not a resort. Its a Gurukul on the banks of the river cauvery. One of the blocks that they have has been used as homestay or you can call it resort. There are no activities. Its just a place to stay and relax at the banks of Cauvery river. Since its a Gurukulam they provide Veg food only and no alcohol. I bet it wont burn your pockets. They dont run it for commercial purpose but more to support the Gurukulam that they run. I had a very relaxing time with family. There are no activities to be done here. You are either in the room or in Cauvery river.

It has been a long time we haven't taken any break from work and the 4 day extended weekend has given the opportunity to have one. I started my search with the hotels in Mysore but found that the famous ones are in the middle of city, so though to go for one near to mysore. Srirangapattanam was a good choice. Checked the videos of Cauvery Sannidhi Gurukul on youtube and immediately felled in love with the place. Its a Gurukul cum peaceful resort, So you find certain calmness at this place. Entrance was not that great as there was a local sugarcane processing unit (not industry) and there was some smell around that. But once you enter into the Gurukul premises, its gone and you the fragrance of flower trees takes your mind. Kitchen and Dining area is designed as you saw in old traditional ways which is remarkable. You have normal dining arrangements as well for those who need Table and Chairs. Food is simple as it is prepared at home Don't expect any special cuisine. The resort section is clean and well maintained. Some rooms are river facing and those are gems. A big hall is there were you can sit with friends and family and enjoy. Dont miss the bath in cauvery river which is something you cannot afford to miss. Caretaker Neeraj was awesome. Very humble and prompt to any kind of queries/requests. Tea was very nice, thanks to the ladies from the kitchen. Overall a nice place to relax and feel the peace. Once again, dont expect the luxury of hotel.

I really enjoyed staying there. Hospitality was so honest and a smoothening atmosphere it created enriched my relaxation. We took bath at River Cauvery with a beautiful view. Some peacocks were also there. Its very near to Srirangapatna and to Rangana thittu bird sanctuary. We visited Balamuri falls also. The food was delicious and a Desi look was there. Thank you so much

The Front office staff was responding well. The service of the hotel was prompt. We liked the staff behavior. They were soft spoken. Time to Time service. We took restaurant and room service for food. The location of the hotel was well placed. Surroundings were good. There is Kaveri river flow. Greenery is there. There is no disturbance. It is best for family staying. No disturbances from drunkards. It is nice. The appearance of the hotel was beautiful. The room was well maintained. We had food in the hotel. We took breakfast and lunch. Both were good and tasty. There were no other activities.

We visited Mysore in the month of January 2017 on a family holiday trip. I booked a room at this hotel through online in the hotel website only. The hotel region was excellent as it was convenient to reach. It was in the interior from the main road. There was no noise pollution traffics. But the connectivity was difficult. There were no options. It was next to Caveriy river. We can even play in that river. The appearance was excellent with the attractive looks. It had a beautiful lawn. It was like a farm house. The front desk was good in completing the booking formalities. When asked for auto to reach the main road or to visit the sightseeing places. They arranged it. They were on time and was polite in nature. Rooms were good. We took a double bedroom. It was decent. It was clean and hygienic. The facilities were well maintained. The room service was also good and prompt. Foods were very good to taste. it was like a home food. The quality was hygienic. The breakfast food items were tasty. There were no fun activities in that hotel. The overall service was good and very satisfied. Our stay was very comfortable and I will recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Village atmosphere was unique

On my Holiday trip I visited Mysore in the month of April 2017. I went along with my Family. I am from Shirsi. I booked it directly. The location of the hotel was easy to reach. If you go further on the Sri Rangapattana main road you could reach this hotel easily. The appearance of the hotel was extremely good. I went there about 5 times and it was not a high-fy resort. It is just a village atmosphere and I loved it very much. The Front Desk staff were helpful. The service of the hotel was up to the mark. There was a Gurukul for the poor students and there are only serve the guests and we can not call them as a servant. The room was comfortable and the bed was comfortable. The washroom was kept hygienic. They have the similar kind of room with the double bed in case we need an extra bed they would provide it. The food facility was good and it was almost equal to homemade. It was a homely atmosphere whatever we order they would prepare. We had the Poori and Sagu and other time we had the Akki Rotti. We went to their kitchen to have the food. On our request they have provided a Camp Fire activity.
