As the name of the hotel itself, it's at the centre of the hotel. I stayed there 3 nights and I didn't have any issue. Everything is organised. Food to room and hospitality is noteworthy. Hotel staff are good and room service is instantaneous. I must recommend someone to stay at this hotel if you are alone or with family.
It was a good hotel. I had visited this hotel for official tour. I didn't use any activity in the hotel. I had taken food from outside. The parking area was not available at the hotel. The market was nearby the hotel.

We stayed there for two nights. The location is very good. It is situated centrally at the Police Bazar, the most happening place if you are a tourist who loves to shop. Also the taxi stand is very near to the hotel. The rooms were very spacious and good. One noteworthy point is that for extra bed, they don't simply give you two mattress. They give you a separate cot. The food was really good. We had Indian and continental. They serve a very good spread for breakfast. The parking is beside the property. Don't worry about the luggage. The hotel staff would carry it for you. They also have bar where they play good live music. I would surely go and stay there if I visit Shillong again.
I stayed at the Centre Point Hotel in April with my family. The Hotel is conveniently located right in the middle of Police Bazaar. They have parking space which can be an issue at times in Shillong. And they have their own restaurant which serves really good vegetarian food. The Dal Makhani come highly recommended. The hotel is pretty and the staff is courteous. They give you a list of places to explore while in the city. I would recommend that you not book the cheapest room. I don't recall what those rooms are called, but trust me, they are the size of a closet. The bed is suitable for 1 person to sleep comfortably. I had unfortunately booked one of these rooms and it was claustrophobic sleeping in it. For those looking for peace and quiet, I wouldn't recommend this hotel since it is bang in the middle of the city and it does get noisy. The market closes by 8-9 pm though. The breakfast spread was vast and delicious; 10 points to the chef. We had the breakfast twice and on both those days the buffet menu was different. They had wifi only in the lobby area, on inquiring I was told that wifi is still being setup for the rooms. While you are in Shillong don't forget to visit Gloria's shopping complex for some delicious momos and random shopping.
It provides good parking space and the facilities are good. The restaurant is very excellent. The location is in the police bazar. It is good for family and group booking we love the hotel but booking facility is good. Everything is very excellent. Food are good. Nice reception. Good view of the Shillong market.
I stayed at Center Point Hotel from 22.06.2014 to 24.06.2014. I stayed in this hotel in the year 1995-1996 also. At that time the hotel was newly built and its location, view from the room windows fascinated me a lot. So I had a fix venue for my stay. During present stay I found everything like furniture, interiors and ambiance was well-maintained, otherwise in India we find that hotels get old look after 15-20 years. But I was very pleased to see everything as new. Right from reception to front, gesture was courteous and humble. Room was nicely and decently maintained. Meals were fantastic and especially breakfast time was refreshing tempting to eat up to the wish. The best part of this hotel is its location. We can find good food courts, market for shopping, cinema hall, bus stand and taxi stand at only 100 yards. I will love to stay in Hotel Center Point again whenever I get chance.
