One of the four central forest nurseries present in Kerala, is the Central Forest Nursery, which was established during the year 1997, by the Kerala Forest Department. Some of the important species of plantations found here include eucalyptus, teak, acacia etc. Production here, is in large quantities in the form of root trainer seedlings and rooted cuttings.
