Hotel Review of Himneel, Hotel
Comments: Chail - with its breathtaking view of the himalayas and the green cedar trees is like a brief visit to heavn and back. A three day holiday and delhi city dwellers are keen to take a bak away from the madding crowds. A 7 hour drive from delhi and a 1.5 hour drive from kasauli- what struck us was how quickly the vegetation and climate changed as one approached chail. From pines to cedar woods - from warm to chilly pleasant winds. Chail palace with its long walk-ways, loghuts, breeze and unending cedar wood alleys instanly relaxes even the most harried and stressed soul. Further the mail Chail palace - which is a 2 minute walk from himneel is a heritage propety - with a piano , a yummy kitchen, unendign lawns, spots facilities etc. The loghuts spreadout across the proprty are a honemooners delight due to the sheer comfot and exclusivity/privacy that they offer.
Best Experience: Fresh air, long winding walks - that overlook rows and rows of christmas trees (cedarwood), a heritage property that makes you feel like a queen. For the kids and for peropel inteested in sports - the resort offers sports facilities.
MUST TRY: PLAY THE PIANO AT the palace entranc; try the chefs paranthas
Drive to Shilonbagh - the miniswitzerland of India
Worst Experience: After glancing up at the chail palace - one felt like one was transported to the era of the maharajas with their luxurious palces, yards, parks... except that Himneel feels like the servants quarters for the king at chail palace. In other words while the surroundings are serene and amazing- the hotel itself is not the best in class on amenities. Nevertheless - its a brillant option for the budget traveller

Hotel Review of Himneel, Hotel
Overall experience has been fantastic. While Himneel itself isnt all that great, however the heritage feeling exists in the room which has a vintage fireplace too, moreover the mountain view is breathtaking and when the clouds set in...one hase a feeling of being in paradise.(the only sour thing is the monkeys!!! Keep a stick handly with you and dont eat in public)...
