Calm & Serene
This is absolutely clean and calm beach. Often visited during Konark beach festival. Avoid summer time, else you can visit round the year. We enjoyed our picnic on the beach side.
A good view
Chandrabhaga beach good view sunrise (morning time) Chandrabhaga is situated 2km east of our hotel and 30km from Puri, chandrabhaga was considered a place of natural cure for lepers, Mythological 'Samba'(Krishna's son)the cured leper worshipped the sun-god for cure on the river mouth.
Calm And Clean Beach
A must visit in the morning for the sunrise. Do remember to take clothes as one cannot resist from getting in the sea with beautiful waves. Don't wait for Puri Beaches as the tides there are extremely high making it unfit for Bath
Awesome location to have the best sunrise view
Chandrabhaga is a sea beach of Bay of Bengal. It is near to Konark Temple. I go to this place whenever I go to Konark. It is a good place for Buddha. The sea view in Chandrabhaga also good. Please come to visit Chandrabhaga. Here you can have the best view of sunrise.

One of the best beach in the Country
Chandrabhaga Beach is definitely amongst one of the best beaches available in the Country. And one could say about this Beach is that the best time to visit this Beach is during Sunrise as well as during Sunset as also throughout the day. Basically one can spend full day without any break in the serenity of nature and have the best of nature to its fullest extent.
A Sunrise to savour
Chandrabhaga Beach is located around 2 kms away from the main city of Konark. It's main attraction is the Sunrise which hundreds of people come to see every morning. The approach to the Beach is a beautiful 2 km walk if you are staying in Konark city. There are huge trees on both sides and the roads are nice too.The beach is maintained and kept clean by the volunteers most of the times. We reached the beach around 5:30 AM and waited as hundreds of people lit diyas in their hands waiting for the sunrise. On a cloudless day the sunrise is as clear as it gets and fill the atmosphere with energy. It is quite a sight to watch the Sun God rising from the Bay of Bengal in all its majesty. One should not miss this during their trip to Konark.
Beautiful beach with less people
Chandrabhaga Beach is located near Konark on the Marine Drive road on the way to Puri. It is a must-visit place for photographers as these beach has very less people so a camera can used to capture the beach's beauty. It is a clean beach. One can spend some quiet time out here. But I guess it is not advisable to bath here or in Ramachandi Beach near this beach as they both have quick sand.
Amazing view - Chandrabagha beach
It was the month of October. I had been to Puri with my family. One of the best moments of the trip was the time spent at Chandrabhaga beach. It is one of the most peaceful beaches of Puri, a lot cleaner than the other famous beaches of Puri. Its distance from the main city (and temple) makes it the best beach for those who want to enjoy the sunset.
Beautiful view of sun and safe beach
The beach of Chandrabhaga was a great place. Story elaborates that this beach was once near the Konark Shrine but now it is bit far from there. The sunrise and sunset is the best thing to see there. I felt as if Lord Sun is coming and going in a Chariot & the colour of the sun during that time was unbelievable. During my visit there was a holy occasion where thousand of devotees were taking bath in the morning and praying to the sun. The best beach I have ever seen.
Not as crowded and packed by shop hookers as in Puri. Think mangrove forest, white sand, and few local shops selling coconut, the magic of Bay of Bengal can make your evening ever more enjoyable. Don't stay after 9 PM as the marine drive connecting Puri may not be safe for first timers
