About Chapslee
Chapslee Palace is a small heritage hotel located in Shimla. Built in 1835, it was bought by Rajah Charanjit Singh in 1938 and later became the summer residence of the Kapurthala royals. Kanwar Ratanjit Singh, the current descendant, continues to live in the family home, but has opened it to guests as well. Guests can enjoy sightseeing, shopping, and walks around Simla’s tourist attractions. Golf at Naldera, Mahaseer fishing and hot sulphur springs at Tattapani, picnics in Seog Forest, walks from Kufri to Fagu, or an overnight stay at the Jalori Pass are other options.
