Palolem food, sight-seeing and shopping options
Small restaurants cum bars and small family run eateries dot the place, which give home-cooked meals at reasonable rates. For those who miss their Punjabi/European fare, there are a couple of 'shacks' close to the beach, which are crowded all the time. This is the place for nature lovers. Carry binoculars, sun tan lotion, swim wear, books, and be prepared to sleep, sleep, sleep. You could buy silk scarves, shell curios, silverware, and throwaway cotton clothes from the stalls that line the lanes to the beach.
