Chetak Tomb

The Chetak Tomb is another popular attraction of Rajsamand, which is situated 2 km west of Haldi Ghati. After getting seriously wounded in the Haldi Ghati Battle, Chetak,  the faithful horse of Maharana Pratap, is said to have carried his master to this place safely and just after crossing the stream, it fell dead at this very place. This tomb has been built in its memory. Adjacent to this Tomb, there is also a Lord Shiva Temple. It is said that this temple has been built in the place where Chetak breathed his last at the feet of his lord 'Pashupatinath'.
