Chhatra Sagar Reviews (9)
It was good experience at Chhatra Sagar, pali. Rooms are good. Also service is ok. The food quality of Chhatra is also good. In the morning, hot water is available.
I stayed at this hotel with my wife. The owner was already overwhelming, but the 3 nights in a luxury tent on the dam were alone for the scenery, tranquillity and the quality of the food is very well with price performance ratio. The staff were also very kind to us.
You really deserve this place after several hours of frankly chaotic roads, especially from Jaipur. But what a pleasure to discover this camp luxurious tents perched on a damm built late nineteenth century by a local Land Lord. It always or also his offspring who operate the place, opens late March to October only. The water retention is home to many birds and countryside views is superb, far from the bustle of big cities. Meals are the same for all the guests (absolutely delicious). In the late afternoon or early morning, the discreet and elegant keeper accompanies you visit a local farm and a stroll amid the rape fields, millet, pepper, henna or cotton depending on the season, explaining cropping systems and irrigation in this region near the desert. Visit the village and school, is instructive, although it is conceivable that the establishment maintains all this for its tourism activity, this is done with great simplicity, kindness, of authenticity and one can have a glimpse of life in the countryside. Regarding the tents, they are simple but comfortable and very clean, the bathroom is hard, the bed too :) In short, an experience absolutely awesome.
This resort was a resort filled with about 12 luxury tents. The service was like any luxury resort. It enjoys an excellent full board, because it has nothing far and wide. The approach was suspicious because our driver was never comfortable there. Unfortunately, our stay was low tide. But even under these circumstances was a wonderful experience. This was a haven to relax and unwind after all the new impressions while travelling through Rajasthan.
We stayed in a luxury tent, furnished with period furniture and equipped with bathroom. In front of us a large artificial pond (the tents are positioned above the dam) with numerous birds, including egrets and green parrots. Restaurant under an elegant tent, overlooking the pond. Services for guests impeccable, much attention and kindness. The restaurant only foods typical of Rajasthan good quality. Excursions in the nearby village, along the pond for bird watching, on the neighboring hill to watch the sunset. Great for two days of total relaxation.
The place is full of good tents which are very comfortable without AC. The tents are very spacious, tastefully decorated and have a permanently-walled bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. From each tent, guests can see the lake on the romp numerous water birds and grazing on the banks of some gazelle herds. It really felt like a paradise before. The owners, three brothers are always there and take care of us was quite touching, but unobtrusive to their guests. The price includes full board and the food was fantastic. Also included are a bird safari around the lake and a accompanied by the owners excursion to the nearby village of visiting some villagers.Very interesting! Shines as the evening camp by the light of hundreds of candles and torches. Pure Romance! We will return.
An incredible place, peaceful, welcoming place we have seen antelopes and all kinds of birds in the late afternoon ride with the owner. The tents are perfect, full of colours, and we were afraid of cold night as having the wind in the afternoon. Not at all because we had two space heaters that were installed by staff during the evening meal and two hot water bottles in the bed. They delivered a coffee or tea at the hour of our choice before breakfast. Please note that we appreciated. The rooms are prepared at night in our absence and rose petals arranged in the bathroom. It was perfect. The meals are included in the package as well as all non-alcoholic beverages. The menus were tasty and local specialities. Breakfast was excellent. This is the only mini-flat if there were to have one of our short stay. And we regret not having taken the time to stay there several days. It is a perfect place to relax while listening to the birds singing.
Very dirty and busy location. No facility in room, very tasteless food and servicing is very poor. Nobody attends in room after calling. Transportation is not convenient. Local people are not civilized. This place is not suitable for outsiders.
It is undoubtedly the best holiday resort I have stayed in. the view excellent and the hosts really taked good care of their guests. The bird watching trek was awesome. Overall a once in a lifetime activity
