One of the most prominent heritage building and not to be missed is the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. It was known earlier as Victoria terminus and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. It was constructed as a rail terminus in 1888 on the existing St Pancras Station in London. A splendid blend of Gothic and Indian architecture adorned with the statue of Queen Victoria and the building is full of woodcarvings iron railings, tiles, and iron grills. Today CST or VT is the headquarters of the central railways.
