Chikmagalur food, sight-seeing and shopping options
You can stay in Nature Nirvana homestay which is located in the BababudanGiri range of hills in a scenic location amidst Coffee plantations. Mullayangiri and BabaBudan Giri are a must visiting hills. Even in peak summer, these hills are cool with lot of greenery/vegeatation in the hills. If you reach the peak of the BB Hills, you will be in the clouds and that's an amazing experience. You will that you are in a dreams. You can buy Coffee from Chikmagalur.

Hotel Review of Nature Craft Homestay
Comments: This is the second time I had the pleasure to stay at Nature Craft. I had an excellent time. The management is experienced and very professional. The food was succulent. Our room was very well decorated and it had a 'home away from home' aura about it. I would reccommend Nature Craft for all visitors.
Best Experience: Mr. Ansar was extremely well-versed about the history and tourism of Chikmagalur. Uncle creates unique decorative pieces made out of coffee wood. We took home a couple of beautiful pieces for our home. Auntie-Ji's biryani was the bestI have ever tasted. Bhabi-Ji's veg dishes were mouth-watering. Mr. Ansar's two lovely daughters were very cute and entertaining!!!
Worst Experience: None at all. The only thing I can say is that Mr. Ansar is truly a perfectionist host and owner. He made sure that we were treated like family members. Kudo's to you!!!!

Hotel Review of Nature Craft Homestay
The homestay is located at about 8.5 Kms from Chikmagalur inside a coffe plantation, but the drawback for this location of the house is that it is just adjancent to the main road leading to Joldalu and Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary. So, a bit of noise till late nights. The hospitality of Mr.Ansar and the staff is really wonderful. He has taken the best care of us. The food is also good....

Simple rooms nicely done, fantastic people, great food, Moderately priced (at 850 per day for adults all incl). The home is located at about 8 KM from Chimagalur in the middle of a coffee plantation. We had a great time chatting with the host eating the lovely biryanis etc and Mr. Ansar planned our entire stay like the places to visit and all. When it comes to home stay in Chikmagalur, i dont think one can find a better host...

What a lovely hospitable family! Ansar and his family were delightful. We were welcomed with juice from fruits freshly picked from their garden. The room had fresh flowers and creative little decorative touches by our warm and friendly hostess, Ansar's mum, who also had a host of interesting anecdotes to relate. An adjoining shop has a collection stuff made by Ansar's father, from coffee stumps....
