Chikmagalur food, sight-seeing and shopping options
You can stay in Nature Nirvana homestay which is located in the BababudanGiri range of hills in a scenic location amidst Coffee plantations. Mullayangiri and BabaBudan Giri are a must visiting hills. Even in peak summer, these hills are cool with lot of greenery/vegeatation in the hills. If you reach the peak of the BB Hills, you will be in the clouds and that's an amazing experience. You will that you are in a dreams. You can buy Coffee from Chikmagalur.

Hotel Review of Taj Garden Retreat
Comments: Overall experience was good. But then one has to go there with the expectations in check. You cant just assume that just becasue its Taj, there are few things you can take for granted.
Best Experience: The highlight was the few days I could spend with my family, which was not happening for quite some time. I also think that the whole idea behind organising the party on the christmas was quite nice. It didnt turn out too well, that was sad, but neverthless.
Worst Experience: Food. Singular item which disappointed me through out the stay. The service wa good, but you can't change the quality by level of service.

Hotel Review of Taj Garden Retreat
My overall experience was very good. I was able to take care of my 6 month old kid quite comfortably at the resort. I liked the ambience very much, quite cool on the hill top, no pollution, no one to disturb your senses, play with the kid, enjoy nature… that’s what I call a BREAK FROM ROUTINE LIFE. Even though the journey was 6 hours from Bangalore, the atmosphere at the retreat was enough for us to shrug off...
