Hotel Review of Wood Way Estate
Comments: We had a good time at this place. Three families with 3 kids. The view is breathtaking in the morning. The caretaker will take you through the coffee estate and run you through some interesting anecdotes!! Sridhar who runs the place is a great guy...gives you perfect directions and ensures you try and get most comforts....even while he was sitting in Bangalore on this instane!!
Best Experience: The caretaker set up a basic bornfire - we could get our car all the way up to the bornfire - played some good music...good wine......caugth on some dumb sherards!!. You can carry your own liquor and place it in the extra large fridge in the kitchen ...
Worst Experience: Service was poor....friendly but Limited staff was the reason...Hot water for bathing is tough to come by....need to wait a while before it decides to flow through!!

The place is wonderful - be sure to reach by daytime as the fog gets dense during the evenings and its difficult to drive and find the place. The fog actually adds to the beauty of the place. Food and service is excellent. Rooms are spacious and there is plenty of place in the common area for kids to entertain themselves in case you are house bound due to the rains....

The hosts were very friendly and so was the Homestay staff. They service was very personal. Overall a very nice experience. Kids however did not much to do. It would be nice if the owners created a small kids play area in the backyard with just a slide and a swing....

Woodway is located in a coffee plantation and surrounded by gentle hills. Lot of greenary and quiet - away from the hustle and bustle of cities. The home stay itself is quite comfortable. Polite and helpful staff. Food is great. Very nice place to stay with lots of open spaces for kids to play around. Owners (Shreedev and Sushmita) are very helpful take effort to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable....
