Chilkur

The Village of Chilkur is a small village situated in the premises of Himayath Sagar Lake of Rangareddy District. This village is not only a scenic spot, but is also a religious site due to the presence of a large Balaji temple at the place. Situated close to the Sagar Lake, the temple is an ancient one and is dedicated to Lord Balaji. Chilkur is also home to a National Deer Park, which was established with the purpose of protecting and nurturing the fauna of this region.
