Day 01 : Arrive Delhi by morning flight/train. Delhi – Shimla (370 Kms)
Meeting and assistance on arrival at Delhi airport and drive to Shimla. On arrival check-in at the hotel.
Shimla – The capital of Himachal Pradesh and former summer capital of British India, Shimla is the state’s most important center. Bulging at its seams with unprecedented expansion, Shimla retains a colonial aura, with its grand old buildings, among them the stately Viceregal Lodge, ccherming iron lampposts and Anglo-Saxon names. The Mall, packed with shops and eateries, is the center of attraction, and Scandal Point, associated with the former Maharaja of the Patiala’s escapades, offers a view of distant snowclad peaks.

Day 02 : Shimla
After breakfast proceed for half day city tour visitng Jakhoo Hill, Shimla’s highest poient, other a panoramic view of the town, hills and mountain ranges with spectular views at sunrise and sunset. Institute of Advanced Study which is housed in the former Viceregal Lodge, it was built in 1888, Tara Devi Temple offers panoramic views, Himachal State Museum has a rich display of the state’s cultural, artistic and archeaeological heritage.

Day 03 : Shimla – Manali by surface (269 Kms)
After breakfast drive to Manali enroute visiting Kulu.
On arrival in Shimla check-in at the hotel.
Manali according to the legend was born when the waters of the Great Deluge receded and the seventh Manu’s ark came to the rest on a hllside in this valley. As the earth dried up there came up a place of breathtaking beauty which was named after the great sags. Over the last decade Manali has grown form a back of the beyond Himachal town to a busy tourist destination. Surrounded by towering peaks at arms length, Mahali’s major asset is its proximity to the snowline, never more than a few hours drive from the town nestling at a comfortable 2,050 meters.

Day 04 : Manali
After breakfast proceed for half day city tour visiting Hadimba Devi Temple, Doongri temple houses Goddess Hadimba (Hirma Devi) has 4 tried pagoda – shaped roof with a doorway carved with figures and symbols. Tibetan Monstary ,– A new colourful Buddhist temple.

Day 05 : Manali
After breakfast proceed for excursion to Rothang Pass.
Rothang Pass is the highest point, 4,112m, on the Manali-Keylong road, 51–Km Manali town. It provides a wide panoramic view of mountains rising far above clouds, which is a sight truly breath-taking. It offers only limited skiing opportunities, but trekking possibilities are immense. The pass is open from June to September although trekkers can cross the pass from May. Beyond Rothang Pass lies the remote and perhaps, the stark and haunting landscape of predominantly Buddhist areas. The comparative inaccessibility of the place has helped preserve the pristine culture of the people of the region.
Return to Manali for overnight stay.
Day 06 : Manali – Chandigarh by surface (370 Kms)
After breakfast drive to Chandigarh and on arrival check-in at the hotel.
Union territory and capital of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh is a unique city. The tranquil and pollution-free environs, shorter distances and the sharp contrast between dull exteriors and plush interiors are the delight of Chandigarh’s inhabitants. A great amount of greenery, the Rock Garden, lake and general sense of organization – all make contribute towards making Chandigarh a charming place to visit.

Day 07 : Chandigarh – Delhi by surface (270 Kms)
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing visiting Pinjore Yadavindra Gardens - 20 kms from Chandigarh on the Pinjore Kalka road. This is a traditional Mughal garden, created in the 17th century by Nawab Fidal Khan, architect to the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. According to Hindu mythology, the Pandava brothers rested at this place during their exile. The gardens are laid out over more than 100 acres on a sloping site with fountains and pavilions. It is open on all days and accommodation is available in at Rang Mahal and Sheesh Mahal.
Afternoon drive to Delhi Airport to connect flight for onward destination.
End of the programme. Check-in & check-out time is 12 noon at all hotels.
