Hotel Review of The Riverview Chiplun
Comments: cool place for weekend.mindbogling view of river covered with clouds,with surounding mountains. u have to wakeup early for this.its worth it. this place is not just stopover for goa, but a plane to be itself. i dont mind spending 12000 for coupal for 2 nights for ap package. but remember its no more a taj proparty.good landscape gardens.down the hill. swimming pool is great.standered food, no complains as such but was not that great also,good recreation.tottal family place.
Best Experience: hotel arranges boat trip to vashishthi river, do go for this, u will see exotic birds like heren, king fishers,hornbill and many more,there are crocks in this river and the boatman will not return unless u spot one. do vissit guhagar vergin beach, if u r lucky enough u might see thousands of star fish lying on the shore when it is low tide.there is restaurent called kshanbhar vishranti(branch at panvel,karnala.) just 5 min. drive towards chiplun from resort, u get great fish at this place.
Worst Experience: nothing wrong about this place.only thing i felt is it should be coupal of thousand cheaper then what it is.

This erstwhile Taj resort is located on a hill directly overlooking the Vashishti River, the primary attraction of Chiplun. As the name suggests, each room gives a beautiful view of the mountains and the river. Was really good to spend the christmas eve at this Hotel - It has great surrounding and a breathtaking view which is simply awesome. The climate was fanstastic at that time of the year.
