Davangere food, sight-seeing and shopping options
The cuisine of Karnataka comprises diverse vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisines. Davangere is famous for Benne Dose and Mandakki-Menasinakaayi. Some typical dishes include Bisi bele bath, Ragi rotti, Akki rotti, Saaru, Vangi Bath, Khara Bath, Kesari Bath, Ragi mudde, and Uppittu. Plain and Rave Idli, Mysore Masala Dosa and Maddur Vade are popular in South Karnataka.
