I had an awesome stay at Chokhi Dhani. Must go and enjoy the best food and plays. Rooms were designed in full Rajasthani style and food was so delicious. Had a lot of fun. Enjoyed in the pool, raining disco, discotheque and a lot more. I do suggest to go once.
Hotel was conveniently located. Rooms were spacious, neat, clean and well maintained. I did not faced any problem to reach the hotel and was situated 20 kms far from railway station. Shopping mall and temple was not situated near hotel. I visited with the family. Food was good and included in package. Interior and exterior decorations of the hotel was good. Hotel was best. Check-in and check-out was in time. Activities like swimming pool, indoor, outdoor games were not available in the hotel. Parking facility was available in the hotel. Staff behaviour was good. No outside view was available from the room.
Excellent stay away from busy city life with cultural, beautiful greenery excellent Indian food and lots of activity for kids. Must for family break as the place makes you energetic to work hard for another break. Kids will enjoy a lot as they have a puppet show and camel ride and areas to play. Top of it, it has a water park with a kids zone. As we had a conference in Indore, it was family cum office trip due to Chokhi Dhani.
That hotel required a lot of renovation. It was good, my experience was also good but from inside room, and all required renovation a lot. Food was good but other activity that was going on in that resort need to be improvised. Hotel's location and all was very good. It was situated in outer. There was no problem to finding out the hotel. Service was not good actually; there was not having any proper hot water arrangement. Staff service was lacking. Only the rooms should be improved. Hotel's appearance was good. Room was spacious with TV, AC, and all facilities. All the things were there but geyser facility was not there. No view was there. I could not see very good view from that. No suggestion needed. Swimming pool, gym, and other activities were available there. Indore as a destination is good and value for money. Hotel can be recommended only if they will improve it, which I have suggested otherwise not. It was a relax holiday with family in 2013.
We (2 adults 1 child) were on a trip from Indore to Omkareshwar, Maheshwar, Mandu and beyond. Someone had suggested Chokhi Dhani and we were not disappointed at all. Well the resort is well outside the city limits but bang on the highway. The check-in was prompt as we walk in with the welcome drink in hand. The feel of resort took us into a rural rustic environs. The room was tastefully arranged. In the evening the real story started unravelling. So many performers, you name it like magic show, puppets plays, dances, joy rides in bullock, horse or camel cart. Options of food a bit limited. Rajasthani or Punjabi stuff but prompt and warm service. On the downside, if at all was the feel of staying all alone in the resort at night. You see all guests usually visit from Indore and almost all leave after dinner and when the shows are over. The best part was the next day when we were the only guest being served a lavish breakfast spread out in the beautiful court yard, really cool.
