Chokhi Dhani, Jaipur
12 Milestone Tonk Road Via Vatika Jaipur
The hotel is located 30 km away from the main city and you will sometimes find it difficult to locate the route. If you are really adventurous then you can go to Bhangarh. It's very near to Chowki Dhani and you will find very cheap transportation from there. The hotel is awesome and magnificent. You will love to see that the hotel is full of activities and you will get free visit to the mela. You will get camel ride, elephant ride, full Jaipur culture in one place. The breakfast is so delicious that you will start stealing the food when you are full and spend more than 3 hours eating.
Choki dhani is just like a small town representing whole rajasthan in one resort only. Its cultural activities at night attracts visitors to come there and enjoy as much as they can. The resort is very awesum to stay at. The interior and exterior decoration is so tremendous that one can actaully feel that he or she come at rajasthan village. Its full of all modern amenities and facilities. The terraces and jhoollas are very good. The food of Choki Dhani is marvellous. No one can beat that . The presentation of thali, the offering of food again & again, taste of chutney and all is so great that i feel like going there again. I avail the spa facility there and liked it very much. Its a beautiful place to spend.
Chokhi Dhani gives you a memorable lifetime experience of traditional rajasthani culture
We stayed in Chokhi Dhani for 1 day on 19th Apr'15 which was our first wedding anniversary. The experience was amazing & we had a memorable day. It's like staying in an artificial village with all facilities. When we reached there, the tikka ceremony, garland etc was pretty exciting. The rooms are cozy and are very beautifully designed with care taken for small small things. After checking in, we went for swimming which was again a "bawdi' style designed area. My sister and Jiju who had accompanied us had arranged for a cake for our anniversary which turned out to be a bad experience as the cake was smelling bad. So we moved towards the mela area & that was a huge area which is like an actual fair. It is impossible to cover all the areas in a single day. After visiting the mela, we went for the dinner which was again great much because of the hospitality. When we came back, we found that the head chef & the manager were waiting for us so that they could apologize for the bad cake. When we opened our room, the entire room was decorated with flowers, balloons, a very yummy cake, candles etc. Turned out that my sister had requested the manager for the same. Next day morning, the buffet breakfast was amazing with good food & many options. The head chef & manager again visited us to apologize again for the bad cake & made all the arrangements complimentary as a gesture for the mistake. We felt extremely gratified with the hospitality & shall definitely pay a visit again. I would highly recommend Chokhi Dhani to all the travellers who plan to stay in Jaipur.

Chokhi Dhani Team.
Chokhi Dhani Well it was a get together of a few colleagues and so we all met at the most common place, Delhi, as guys were coming from all over the country and took a road trip to Chokhi Dhani. We took off from Delhi at 7.30 in the morning of 24th Feb ¡¦07 and had bookings to stay through the 25th Feb. The good part was that the chill still remained and so we just zipped through the hustle and bustle of Delhi, slowly to find that the cars are being replaced by camels.(ƒº)..the heavy vehicles though remained and we couldn¡¦t wish them away! We stopped at RTDC Behror for a small breakfast, though the place was not so good in terms of quality of food (oil dripping bread toast and ¡¥hard as rock¡¦ idli¡¦s...) Anyways, since you cannot crib all the time, we just stuffed ourselves with something light as we have enough and more stock in the 2 Tavera¡¦s that we had at our disposal. We reach the city of Jaipur at around 12noon and zipped through to Chokhi Dhani, planning to come back in the evening for the city trip. This is not my first trip to Jaipur but I found no change in the city but for the traffic which has gone up 10 fold...but what the hell¡Kthat¡¦s the same everywhere! We passed the Jalmahal which however was hardly having any jal (water) and passed through the city Museum, Hawamahal and finally on our straight road ahead to Chokhi Dhani. One good thing that I saw was that most of the monumental structures were under renovation, which means that the state govt is indeed trying to using the state exchequer to keep the historic city in the ¡§pink¡¨ of its health (ƒº) Finally after an 18 km drive we reached the resort which is a village replica and but for the English, Japanese and Europeans around, it would have still given a larger than life picture of a true blue village! We got a sweet welcome at the resort entrance by small boys and girls playing the ¡§dholak¡¨ and music and welcoming you with ¡¥kumkum and rice¡¦ in the traditional Rajasthani way! The reception was easy to locate and was loaded with various shapes and size of luggage from various people who were trying to do a fast check in! I somehow felt that the reception was not equipped enough to manage that kind of crowd and there were many who were waiting to get their keys! The rooms ,or should I call them traditional huts as they used to be in the villages, are with nice vegetable colors from outside and very nicely done from inside. The only problem you get into is locating them as they all look the same and if you are a person with a poor sense of topography (like me), god save you! There is nothing to do inside the village and not a great place to take kids as they wont appreciate that kind of location¡Kit could e more of a honeymooner¡¦s destination(that too, only in winter) or if you have gone there to relax and unwind and eat the traditional Rajasthani food. Talking about food, the menu was no so elaborate though taste was good and there is nothing much to talk about! There however is a separate section in the evening which opens up for food and cultural activities and once you enter it; it¡¦s like a separate entity by itself! There are puppet shows and girls dancing with pots in their head and swords between their teeth and the place is buzzing with people¡Kyou tend to forget that this is a part of chokhi Dhani! The food in this section however is a different one and you have to have the taste and mindset to enjoy a different taste and different kind of cooking which is very authentic Rajasthani...though its a tiresome wait to enter the food arena and the coupons are expensive! The pool is normal, not very deep and is so conspicuous that you wont know where it is if you don¡¦t know! Various object of art which are kept across the resort makes it very picturesque and beautiful! To conclude, this is a good resort to visit but you should be clear about your agenda as to why you are going there or else, you might get bored! Overall experience, a good one¡K.after all you also get to see the pink city in the bargain, with the city palace and tons of shopping in Nehru market /bapu market.
