The Church of Our Lady of Rosary lies on the Monte de Boa Vista Hill, in proximity to the Basilica of Bom Jesus. The church is believed to be the efforts of the Portuguese Conqueror Alfonso de Albuquerque.
This church marks the foremost success of the Portuguese rulers in Goa. It has a double-storeyed portico and a facade with round towers on both the sides. The Divar Island and Mandovi River can be seen from the church.
