The Church of St. Alex is located along the Chogm Road, around 18.2 km away from Miramar. This church is counted among the oldest churches of Goa and is believed to be constructed in 1595 by Franciscans. Later the church was demolished and rebuilt in 1741. One of the major attractions of this church is the cave of Our Lady of Lourdes.
