About Club Mahindra Ashtamudi Resorts

Ashtamudi has been built in the traditional Kerala �Tharawad� style is located near the banks of the Ashtamudi Lake, the second largest lake in Kerala. Watch fishermen working with Chinese fishing nets, rent a house boat for a ride on the lake, or visit nearby ancestral homes, snake shrines, or the local coir industry. Catamaran rides on the backwaters are also possible. Cultural performances, shopping in Kollam, or a visit to the old port are other options. The best time to visit is October�March.

Rooms & Amenities

The resort has double rooms with balconies and independent cottages with double beds, living area, kitchen, and verandah. All bedrooms have attached bathrooms and air conditioning. The restaurant on the lake shore serves fresh fish from the lake. Food is ethnic Kerala Style (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian). The resort has a swimming pool, and provides, for an additional fee, facilities for Ayurveda and Yoga therapy, massage, backwater cruises, sight-seeing and cooking classes. Conferences and parties can be arranged.
