A great scenery which is in middle of a coffee plantation. It is having a good sense of coffee. This is a great attraction of tourist towards it because of the scenery consisting of the chirping of different kinds of birds etc. It is having a moderate climate which make life of people liveable.

The resort should be a treat if you are not visiting in rainy season. Its wonderfully located near a waterfall and provides good service. Unfortunately for us we visited during the rainy season and that too without a prior reservation. Never do that !!!!!. The plantation is off the main road by a few kms and it was completely muddy and could only be traversed by the resort jeep. There is no way your average car or even SUV reaches the resort gates without taking some damage. We did opt for a wooden cottage. Again a rookie mistake as they were damp and the bathroom was had bugs , snails and some other slimy creatures !!!
All that being said, the resort was located nicely in the woods and had a great view. The food was great and so was the service.

Visited the resort with my wife and kids. Awesome experience. The food, hospitality and personal care was truly amazing. Akhil the Resort Manager, Benny and the support staff were very helpful and ensured my stay was truly pleasant. Travelling with small kids was a concern, but the games, facilities in the resort ensured that they were kept busy. Many things to do within the resort itself - The Natural waterfall, Natural Pond, Rose Wood Park, indoor games like Archery, Table Tennis, Trampoline etc.. And overall just breathe in the pure natural fresh air - Rejuvenating experience !!. Point to Note :- The Road from the main Kunnampetta to the resort is a forest road and not sure if the regular Sedans could handle it. Suggested for Cars / SUVs with High road clearance. Other than this there no negative points at all.

Best Experience: The Wood House - Clean, Well maintained, spacious rooms and sit out. The Waterfall, Rose Wood Park, Natural Pond

Worst Experience: Nothing Really...

on the whole the experience was very good.food was excellent.the resort location is great with a natural waterfalls attached to the resort makes it a great stay.staff is good and akhil was very helpful from the start of our booking till we returned back.one thing is that we couldnt take our ford fiesta car up till the resort as the route is not that good so they arranged for pickup and drop from a place nearby where we could park our car safely.room charges and all other were very good they even provided accomidation for my driver.

Best Experience: the best experience was soending quality time in the resort by going for a trek to tea estates nearby and playing with kids and family at the natural waterfalls attached to the resort.

Worst Experience: None

Coffea aroma is a pretty and peaceful place to stay. The resort has been done up well with lots of greenery as it was originally a plantation. Since it was our honeymoon destination, my husband and I decided to stay in the Honeymoon Cottage. The cottage was spacious and absolutely spic and span. The best part was that there was a waterfall right behind our cottage which we had all to ourselves.

A big advantage of staying at Coffea Aroma is that it is the base to the famous Chembra Peak. The staff at the resort made all the arrangements for our trek to the peak including hiring a guide and sending us a packed breakfast!
Games facilities such as carrom & badminton are available. The area which is used for playing carrom would also serve as a dance floor and there is a good music & sound system.

Best Experience: The food was delicious! We relished every meal that we had there!

The waterfall behind our Cottage was like our very own and we spent hours sitting by the waterfall and dipping our feet in it. Bliss!

Worst Experience: Can't use the term worst for any of our experiences. Drawback is a better word.

The resort is not very accessible and one has to depend on transport arranged by the resort. The rates for cabs are rather expensive.

Language was another issue. We did not know Malayalam and the resort staff were not very fluent in English. Yet we managed to communicate with some extra effort. The funniest part was when we decided to be bold enough to return to the resort from a certain point after the trek where the guide left us and got thoroughly lost. It was quite a task trying to explain to the staff on the telephone where exactly we were!

Since the resort is rather out of the way, perhaps getting staff is a problem. Hence the bell boy served as a guide, waiter and even a masseur!
