I booked this property through booking. Com for 16th June 2018 and I got the confirmation as well from booking. Com. When I called the hotel owner 2-3 days before check-in to know the facilities available at property the owner Dhanush did not mention about any prepayment nor I got any cancellation from the booking. Com/property owner. Strange part is after reaching the hotel the owner says he is not aware of any booking from booking. If the rooms are not available the hotel owner should insist Booking. Com to mark "sold out". But looks like the property owner have not done that. This burnt fuel for us as well as booking alternate property at last minute cost us additional money. I came to know the room was offered after we left the property. So Owner looks like is more money minded rather than really hosting people. Overall my experience was terrible.
We visited Coffee Bean Villa Sakhleshpur on 27-28 April 2018. The information provided on booking sites says Non Smoking property but people smoke and drink ad lib here. The manager expects a family of 8 to manage with one shower facility. It's more of a dormitory than family accommodation. They insist on Cash payment in this age of cashless business. They don't accept PayTM and insist on a specific payment portal. Signals are poor and they ask you to walk to an open area down the road and get signals to pay money. The only thing they do efficiently is hand out the payment due slips at breakfast. Overall approach is hostile
Visited the place with my colleagues from Akamai, I was very skeptical in booking the place as Sakleshpur new place to me . . But after the hospitable stay my friends thanked me later and were happy with the place The USP of the place is it is located in quiet serene place surrounded with coffee estate and homemade food prepared is a yumm We ended playing cricket, football and went to some nearby trek spots suggested by Dhanush The people who run the place are perfect gentlemen who are very well versed in Coffee Plantation and agriculture Dhanush was patient with all our queries from start to finish will definitely recommend to all and will surely visit with family once again.
Visited the place in the 1st week of September had a amazing time with family. "The place located in between coffee-estates was perfect weekend getaway with the busy city life. The Non-Veg prepared at the place was top notch which was yummy and delicious. Would love to go back again with Office colleague's"
This was my worst homestay experience till date. It was so pathetic that I am forced to write a review for the first time in my life so that others don't suffer the same. We went to this place on 2nd September with a group of 6 people. The first thing they did was collecting the balance payment at the point of check-in. The food was terrible without any variety as promised. In fact, they provided a rare combination of non veg starters and veg meal which is strange. They provided a single bathroom for 6 of us including girls. Though they provided another washroom after request. They take booking without having the proper infrastructure to support such a group. I would never stay or recommend this place to anyone. Attached are the pictures of the dining area while having breakfast.
My friends and I visited Chikmagalur and came across the Coffee Bean villa, a homestay. We had heard about it from a friend of ours who recommended this place. The experience was absolutely worth it and the serenity the place offered was second to none. The amenities were great with clean rooms, good delicious malnad style food and friendly staff. I have to mention how the staff took great care in managing the nearby sightseeing and arranging guides for our trek. They were very courteous at fulfilling our special requests. The place is very well maintained and it was great value for money. A must stay.
I visited Coffee Bean Villa, Sakleshpur along with my family. The place was clean with good ambience and the staff were really very courteous. Mr. Dhanush, the owner was too good to see every morning and greet the guests. He ensured the comfort of every guest personally. The staff not only took care of our hotel stay but also guided us thoroughly about the sightseeing and local things that should not be missed while in Sakleshpur.
I had visited the place with my Office friends from CSC it was worth every penny spent. It's an awesome getaway, for youngsters and families alike! The food is great and the people very hospitable. There's enough activities for you to go over through the day. The morning trek with coffee plantation trekking and the personal bonfire in the evening together, make this experience memorable. P. S. : The last 10 kilometers to the resort take you through very scenic hilly yet patchy roads and might bother novice drivers.
We stayed here just for 2 days and I must admit that the staff of this place are very good, polite and friendly. They left no stones interned to fulfill our each and every need in the villa. I must recommend this place to my friends and yes the rooms were but obvious very good and clean.
It's a great place to stay. Staff were friendly caring and pleasant, starting from the reception. Meals are very good and delicious. Rooms are warm while outside is very cool. I highly recommend the hotel for locals and foreigners. I would probably choose these hotel next time as I have experience warm welcomes of the staff, excellent service and pleasantness of hotel crew.
Thank you, CoffeeBean Villa - it's been the best midweek break I've had. Seeing the great reviews about Sakleshpur homestays and CoffeeBean Villa, I checked their site. Immediately noticed that they have a special offer during the holiday season for weekday bookings. The children have always accused me of taking a break only when it is convenient to either Ruchi or me and so we decided to surprise them. We headed out on tuesday morning and returned on Friday. My initial plans were to return on thursday but we loved the place and stayed back to leave early on Friday. The children were thrilled that we had so many days together without work worries and this to me is really the clincher about Sakleshpur and CoffeeBean Villa in particular. You can relax without guilt. CoffeeBean Villa, the homestay in Sakleshpur is a truly wonderful place to appreciate nature and all that we are deprived of in cities. A little more than a 4 hour drive from Bangalore, its perfect for a getaway. The drive was pleasant and roads are mostly good - some construction happening, but no complaints. Dhanush's mom and dad who run CoffeeBean Villa are extremely friendly and helpful. Both of them are very knowledgeable about the area, the surroundings and it was very easy to gel with them. It almost felt that we were in Sakleshpur to visit friends and that's really how a homestay should feel - make you welcome from the start and you don't feel that you are intruding on anyone else. Their plantation is beautiful and the cottages are prettier. A great color scheme for the cottages helped to create a wonderful ambience. Friendly dogs, kite flying and a waddle in a stream helped to make the children truly happy. Showing them the stars through the telescope and flying a remote controlled helicopter on the open plains made it all the more sweeter. With wide open spaces, jeep rides, lazy afternoons and a stress-free setting, I don't blame anyone for harboring the thought of settling here. A homestay is a great experience when you have the right location, clean surroundings and great food. CoffeeBean Villa really exceeds expectations primarily because of the food and the wonderful hosts. A definite recommendation and should be on your list if you truly wish to take a break.

Thank you for visiting the place!!!
CoffeeBean Villa was a perfect hangout with my office colleagues situated admist Coffee-estate which takes away your stress and makes you have a relaxing weekend . The pepper chicken prepared was very yummy. We had some extra time to spend after visiting the nearby sightseeing places nearby in the evening we went for a short hike to the hills. The money spent was absolutely worth it.
We stayed here for 2 nights. The hosts are extremely down to earth. We had a pleasant stay . The villa is spacious, rooms are neat, The nature, the homely food prepared by Dhanush's mom especially akki rotti and pulav were too delicious, literally no network on our mobiles (We love to be away from our mobiles on a holiday), serene atmosphere, huge bungalow situated amongst coffee estate, we love pets and their pet is supposed to be a ferocious dog but he became our friend, away from busy city life summed up to a perfect holiday. Was totally relaxed. They arrange bonfire, barbeque, tent stay etc. There are facilities to play cricket, badminton, disc throw, dart, housie, ludo, snakes and ladder, carrom, cards etc. Coffee bean villa gives you the feeling of home away from home close to nature. And yes, if you are lucky enough, you can spot beautiful peacocks in the vicinity during an early morning walk We will surely visit again.
I had a fabulous stay here with two friends. The hosts were so friendly and helpful and had great recommendations for the area. Room was neat, beds were comfortable, environment was perfect and food was really superb, would highly recommend this place and will be back.
Awesome place to hangout with all age groups. Food, Accommodation and ambience was amazing. I would surely be coming back with my a larger group. Amazing environment, good food and place to hangout with friends and family . . Nice environment. Superb infrastructure and right place to hangout with big group.
