The hotel was very nice. Staffs at the hotel were very good. Service at the hotel was nice. I was happy with the room allotted. There was no delay while check in and checkout. The facilities inside the hotel were in working condition. There was no activity provided by the hotel. The hotel was value for money and also affordable. I had visited the hotel with my family.
Wonderful weekend stay at the new bungalow
We went to the homestay for the weekend. The bungalow is situated atop a hill in the middle of a 3 km wide coffee plantation. The plantation also has rice fields and lots of birds including peacocks. The bungalow is fabulous and tastefully decorated. It has all the modern amenities in the middle of rustic surroundings. Highly recommended for a weekend trip.
Rooms was neat, clean and well maintained. All the amenities like AC, TV, fridge, geyser were working in good condition. The quality of food was good and tasty. There is no delay in check-in and check-out. Activities like swimming pool and indoor games were there but we didn't opt for. It was worth for the money. Hotel arranged cab for sightseeing but there was a communication problem. Hotel is recommendable and satisfied with the hotel.
I went there by own vehicle with a group in June month 2013. Parking facility was available. I had no difficulty to reach the hotel. Location was superb. Appearance of the hotel was excellent. Check in and check out facility was easy. Reception of the hotel was good. Rooms were neat, clean, and spacious. Mountain View was available from the room window. Hospitality of the hotel was very good. Food was delicious. Activities were fine. Hotel organized sightseeing trip for us. I travelled there with my family for relaxation. Chikmaglur place is awesome for travel. I can recommend this hotel for tourists.
Friendly staff makes your stay very comfortable
One of the best holidays we ever had as a family. We were looking for a place to run away from the noisy city and this just was apt for us. There is nothing much to disturb you other than birds singing off to glory. The British bungalow is where we stayed and it was comfortable and spacious. The new bungalow is absolutely gorgeous and slightly expensive than the british bungalow but worth every penny Loved everything about this place their service, food, lip smacking snacks during the bonfire, friendly staff who make your stay very comfortable. While others might feel that not having a Mobile signal and television are minus points, we were really thrilled because that gave us a lot of time as a family, lest we would be stuck to technological demon all over again. The staff is very polite, helpful and courteous. Food is tasty with a major touch of malnad cuisine. The trip to Devaramane betta, water falls in a pickup truck were the highlights. Spotting peacocks on the walks through the coffee plantation was fun indeed. There is nothing I would change about this holiday
Food is nice and fresh served at new bunglow.
The new bunglow is the one I will recommend for stay as its interiors are beautiful but ys there is no Mobile signal. But otherwise it was nice for us to spend some quality time with kids. Food is nice and fresh served at new bunglow. Bonfire exp was nice. Overall a real
It was located in the mid of a big coffee estate
We went there for relaxing. we didn\'t want any phonecalls or disturbance. So that is why th eplace was perfect for us(No mobile network). The welcome was great. It was located in the mid of a big coffee estate. They have totally 5 rooms. One old bungalow and one new bungalow. The rooms were great. The food and the service was excellent. The courtesy of the staff was superb. They arranged a camp fire and barbeque.
We were 4 of us and had been to this place in the month of May 2013There are 2 options here, one is new bungalow and one is Old British Bungalow. We stayed in Old British Bungalow. Compared to British Bungalow the new one is bit expensive. Overall experience w. as wonderful. Best ever Hospitality. Food was amazing with Mangalore style and Malnad style cuisine included. Shuttle badminton, Cycling in estate, Water falls( Water was not upto the level since we visited in the month of Non Rainy season). One of the good place to relax.
It was awesome. Food was excellent and ambience was too good and very relaxing. The best part is my husband never got calls because network signal is weak. This place is one place where in we can get out of the day to day hassles and relax with no one bothering you.
I stayed here in April 2012 and just loved this place. The whole bungalow is in the middle of a 300acre coffee plantation. The roads are good overall except the last 2kms and mobile network connectivity is nil. But these are very small negatives when considering the excellent bungalow, big rooms, tremendous atmosphere. Food is just decent. This place is ideal if you want to break free from a city clutter and enjoy a weekend in a serene place. All famous sight seeing places are far off so there is nothing much you can do there except a little trekking, boating in an artificial lake and a completely un-crowded natural waterfall.
