An outstanding Beach.

Cola Beach, is an outstanding Beach, seems to be abandoned, lonely and a remote beach located 5 kms north of Agonda beach in South Goa, sand is golden in colour and stretch is not as long as of other beaches. Access Road is a temporary one but it leads to a beach, about which no one can imagine. It's so beautiful as no words can describe. This beach is surrounded by coconut palm trees and Cashew-nut trees on the way and little away. Visitors may have the real joy at this wonderful sea shore of Blue Sapphire, an extremely attractive Bay of the Arabian sea. Cola beach is the most beautiful spot just like a gem among all the lovely beaches of Goa. It harmonise with nature and a perfect peaceful place, where tourists may amplify their feelings and may have a retouch to their soul.During the months from December to April, it attracts the visitors who are the true lover of the Nature. Colourful huts are the best accommodation and many beach shakes are sufficient to serve the visitors. Soneca Beach Resort and Blue Lagoon Resorts are providing the Cottage and Bungalows at the beach and the famous The Bay Agonda Resort is a nice choice and cupid Heaven Beach Resort, Galaxys Beach huts are in the vicinity which are quite reasonable for the tourists. Flying Bird and Spiral Ark are the popular restaurants which are not so far from the Beach. As the most popular and un-spoilt beach Agonda, Canaguinim, Betul Beach, Cabo de Rama etc are the major attractions for the tourists. And this is a beach which can be visited with families, friends and for the couples a perfect Romantic place to enjoy all the beach activities except water sports. life guards are available and it is a safe beach.

Peaceful beach with a tricky route

The way to the beach is long and rocky. After a huge field, starts downward slope on which neither 4 nor 2 wheelers may be able to go. There are no sign boards to guide you and the GPS also doesn't work but ask around i.e. if you see someone around (lol!) for the way to the beach. We were able to manage travelling through the route in a 2 wheeler but a 4 wheeler would never make it till the end. Once you reach the destination, it is very beautiful with very few visitors. The major disappointment was the presence of only one shack which was not too good on the beach. The beach is majorly frequented by tourists residing in a hotel on the beach as they have exclusive access to the shacks and backwaters! Overall a nice visit for a short time but definitely not a must visit.
