Hotel Review of Colva Residency
Comments: I was there last summer.........simply fabulous view of the sea........service is good........especially the food...........for vegetarians there are better options outside.......but very close to the resort........overall a fun-filled experience
Best Experience: good view, good food, superb ambience
Worst Experience: staff at the reception were rather cold !!

Colva Residency is a Government Hotel which is good to stay for 2 - 3 days time. It is also good for people who look for a buget - above average hotel. The beach is across the road of the Hotel. The food is really tasty, but you cannot look out for south indian dishes. You get only North indian food there in restaurant of Colva residency. But there is a Udupi Hotel nearby (walkable distance) where you can get both...

Colva beach is one of the best beaches in the world. Sand is white, clean and the area itself is not overcrowded. You have all the activities in the beach like parachute gliding, boat cruises, water sports bikes and etc., at the beach. But in the hotel, you have no activities like Jacuzzi and steam. As you expect from the www.goa-tourism.com website, Ayurvedic centre is no more available inside. But you have plenty of such centers around the hotel. WOW!...

All in all, it was a wonderful and very good vacation at the GTDC Colva Residency. Excellently located beach view rooms close to the sea always tempted us to just rush to the clean clear, and very safe Colva beach and frolick in the waves. The beach view from the room is poor . Service is not to the standard. Reception is not very pleasing. There is no play area for kids, even the greenery is not achieved by manicuring the lawn but by growing some small shrubs which makes it unapproachable....

excellnt location,we could view and hear the sea from our room, it was great fun walking bare foot from the room to the sea. A very quiet beach, The smell of the sea is very strong and takes some time to get used to it....

I stayed in Colva residency for two days with my wife. We both love the sea and that is the beauti of Colva residency..You are so close to the sea that you can spent as much time a spossible at the Colva Beach..One of the finest beaches in Goa.
